  1. I may be getting a 16GB Nano for my girlfriend's birthday (hope she's not reading this), she's long been wanting a well functioning mp3-player, since she's used my old '06 1st gen Nano for the past year or so(which has a really annoying broken hold button and short battery life). The video camera isn't a spectacular function, but I thought if I wanna surprise her I better get the best&latest.
  2. I updated to the new Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) a week ago, and have after that not been able to open Runescape in the regular signed mode. I get a warning message saying it will be run in unsigned mode, which means I have to download the game again each time I play RS, and it won't remember my sound and display settings. Screenshot of trying to open the game: I found my Java Preferences application and found that I did have "Allow user to grant permissions to signed content" enabled, but it wouldn't let grant those permissions myself, which it has before, with previously unopened applets. I tried toggling different settings on and off and rebooted several times, also adding runescape.com to the "safe" sites list wouldn't solve my problem. Does anyone know why it won't let me validate Jagex as a "trusted publisher"? And a way to fix it? Would it be possible to downgrade to Java 1.5 or 1.4? I have a backup of my old OS which used 1.4, I think. Could I just copy all Java files from there on top of my current ones, or could that potentially break my system? Thanks in advance, UulaR
  3. =P~ @ the prizes I wanna win :( Can't make a vid myself now though. Looking forward to see some quality vids though, once they're announced.
  4. To earn 80 more days since last login ;)
  5. And you also can't speak to Daero for further quests without taking the exp anyway, I believe. Maybe they've changed this.
  6. Pourvu Qu'elles Soient Douces by Mylène Farmer The best music in French that I've listened to yet
  7. okay. 300 4 dose pots = 400 3 dose. 400 - 10 - 5 = 385 ranarrs farmed let's say you farmed 10 days of the 3 weeks. 385/10 = 38.5 ranarrs per day 38.5/5 = 7.7 herbs per patch on average. Even that is a lot, but it's nowhere near the 15-18 you're suggesting. EDIT: Oh I'm an idiot and didn't realise someone else did the maths above me here. Alright, I'll just shut up and leave. By the way, I've gotten maybe 15 from a patch. Maximum.
  8. It's like religion; it's all about belief, proof would make it obsolete.
  9. It's not for Portugal, it's for Brazil. And woo, I'm finnish. I am now forever happy. :| Makes sense, still though, more people speak Spanish than Portuguese. That doesn't mean there are more Spanish speaking people on Runescape. There are twice as many people who speak German than people who speak Dutch, Finnish, Swedish and Danish in total, yet it's not an especially common language heard on RS while the other four I named you see every day. Explain Dutch worlds in the english runescape and no German worlds in the english runescape? Maybe they deemed it reasonable to give them German servers in German, while having the old Dutch servers that are close to Germany anyway. Or that German people don't speak English as well...
  10. That you can cut down trees while keeping your axe in your backpack
  11. That, Sir, is because we have a seperated German server on wich all these people are located, that is why you don't hear it a lot ;) [Dutch_mode] Hoera, nederlandstalige fora, laat die dt-fouten maar komen :D [/Dutch_Mode] And they have what, 3? 4? underpopulated servers, where most people only speak english anyway. I never saw German ingame before the servers, and the reason they were made was to reach the German audience who wasn't playing RS at the time. Same thing with the French version. They're not made for existing players who evidently don't need their own language servers, but for potential new players who will start playing because there is a French/German option. And I guess Spanish isn't the largest "gaming-language", although it has many speakers.

  14. Subsilver2. Greatest disappointment with PHPBB3 upgrade was exclusion of PinkVibes :(
  15. I don't see at all where you're coming from with this statement. Could you explain, at all, what it is based on? Also, I can play this game too: If it's "through" and not "thru", it's "Good fight, typographical errors", not "GF Typos". And you are, on better basis than by which you claim Jagex to be, obviously so high and mighty on your spelling an grammatical correctness that you shouldn't make this kind of rookie mistake. Now, I'm not sure whether my post is grammatically correct or not, but bear in mind that everyone can play this game whenever they have anything to point out. But for that, we'd better use another forum. Hmm, that could make a nice Forum Game. "The Grammar Game", point out what's wrong with the post above.
  16. So... How do they deal with thirds of xp in some cases?

  21. Oh, thanks for the answers :) How did I not come to think of the need for an admin/supermod... I feel a little stupid now.
