Although merchanting is lame, you have a point. Though personally i'd spend it on a skill that will be more profitable at a higher level. Why on earth is Merchanting lame..? In my OPINION, standing on the same spot just repetitively typing 'selling lalalala' and 'buying lalalala' for hours on end to make a bit of pixelated cash is kind of pointless, and otherwise wasting time that could be spent socialising and having fun outside in the real world.
