It's possible that your router's firewall is blocking Steam from connecting. You need to configure you're firewall so that it allows it. If you need help doing that, I'll definitely try to help you.

It looks to me like a perfectly good laptop with 1 GB of RAM, core duo processor, and a 120 GB hard drive. I think the clock speed is a bit slow, I'm not sure though. The only other potential problem is that it comes with Windows Vista Business. You may want to consider buying 1 GB more of RAM just to make sure it runs smoothly. Other than that, I believe you're in pretty good shape.

People really do need to knock it off, most of you didn't cheat anything. It was just a coincidence. You can't say what would have happened to you because it didn't happen. As for myself, I haven't "cheated death". Nor have I had any near death experiences or anything. And to the OP, sorry for your loss.

I own both a Zen and an iPod. In my opinion, Zen's are better. Easy to use, durable, and sexy. It's also good that you don't have to download iTunes against your will just to put music on it.

Impeaching is the process of taking the president to court. Bill Clinton was impeached, but he was not found guilty and therefore stayed the president. If found guilty it is then the second stage called conviction, and that is when the president would be removed. Been a while since a government class but I am pretty sure that is how it went. Clinton was found guilty and he was impeached. OT: What Bush is asking for seems a bit extreme. The Congress normally takes care of the things that he's asking for power over. The only thing that the president actually has any real power over is the armed forces (and he even has to answer to Congress about that). Congress simply won't allow what Bush is talking about. Bush kept us alive, so I hold no grudges with him. With ideas like this though, it's about time to get his [wagon] out of office.

Well, I guess there's a few things that could be wrong. * There's something wrong with the mouse * There's something wrong with the port(s) that you have the mouse plugged into * There's something wrong with your touch pad(s) * You have some sort of spyware or something You should try using the mouse on another computer. You should scan your computer(s) for spyware. I'm not sure how you would fix your touch pad(s), nor am I sure how anything happened to them. Have you had the computers for a long time or something? Does your cursor move even if the mouse isn't plugged in? I'll let you try those things, I'm tired of typing.

Well, you really only have a few options, you can : - Call Microsoft support and see if they can help you (make sure you have proof that you bought the copy and everything). - Buy a new activation key from Microsoft. or - Find an illegal crack that will give you a new key and help you activate your copy of Microsoft Windows. :-w

When you registered at school, you signed away your rights, whether you knew it or not. You're in a public school. It's a government facility and the teachers work for the government. In other words, they can tell you what to do and there's not much you can do about it. You don't have many rights to speak of in school. Get over it and get over yourself. It's really not that big of a deal. That guy wearing what he was wearing would be distracting to other students and the learning environment. It's the job of the staff to make sure that things like that don't happen. They were doing their job.
