My friend almost got deported back to Austria a few days ago. :lol:

 

He doesn't have an American passport and while coming back from Austria he went into the U.S. citizens line and got detained.

 

If he would have went in the Visitors line he would have been deported after 90 days.

Not much happened today. Just got back from hanging out with my cross country team. We watched Dumb and Dumber to get pumped for our meet on Saturday. :thumbup:

Today was a pretty average school day, save for one kid in health class. We were talking about heredity and stuff and we had to do an activity where we named things our family likes and dislikes. He said his family liked fighting and disliked cops. Another kid said his family disliked STDs. Both responses kind of made me laugh and facepalm at the same time. Then I got home and played guitar and listened to music for a long time.

Today I found out that I'm going to be an uncle. \

I miss stupid answers like these. The only idiotic thing I've heard in my years in college was (in calc) "Sir, what is that sideways infinite sign thing?"... it was an eight. :lol:

 

 

 

Also, what the hell is this club thing? My life isn't cooler than anyone else's, trust me. A lot of it involves traveling on a bus or walking around and sleeping. It just seems exciting because I condense 24 hours into the 5 minutes of fun in a few lines.

Off to school now and hopefully my timetable will be good. I don't want photography to clash with anything :pray: that and art are the only subjects that will get me through the year. I sooo hope the teacher will teach us a bit more about the exposure triangle and stuff. I fear that it will be a crappy class.

I'm gonna' kill the mother [bleep]er that keeps screwing with my exam timetable. Now I've got a total of 6 hours of exams on the last day. Both of which are heavy theory.

I went to visit a mate in prison and got turned down because I'm in a wheelchair :( Oh, and I got my insurance cheque cashed and transferred my money from my savings account into my spending account so I can buy a new car soon. I'm torn between..

I did test drives of all 3 today. I think I prefer the is250c of the 3, but I could buy 3 commodores or falcons for the price. More test driving tomorrow in the dry :thumbsup:

Hey, car advice! We had an RX 300, I think 2001, since 2005, and it never had a single thing wrong with it. It rarely required maintenance, the worst thing was the brakes, which just needed a little tuning occasionally. Now we have an LX, but make sure you get a good one - ours was a crappy sale, because the last person took horrible care of it. Just interior crap though, we've had it for more than a year and nothing remotely wrong with it.

 

 

 

My brother has an IS, and he absolutely loves it as well. Make sure you get good tires, though, he bought new ones that weren't very good. Too low profile.

 

 

 

If you have to take a lot of people around places, get an RX. Otherwise, get an IS, because you will love it :thumbup:

Buying it new, so the old owner isn't a problem :thumbsup: My car very rarely has more than 2 people in it, I was keen on the RX because I found it very comfortable and easy to get in and out of when I'm having leg/back troubles. Plus it's a hybrid, which is apparently brilliant for my fuel economy. Now the IS... I've never driven a comparable convertible before!! Amazing handling and throttle response, as well as all the bells and whistiles :) The porsche wins in 2 sections though... 1, power! and 2, it's a porsche!

Today I can laze around again, unless the person from midnights decides she doesn't want to work, in which case I should have slept longer. I might walk to the corner (20 minutes each way) and check out EB Games or the grocery store, but probably not. I'll probably just play videogames and watch tv.

Today was my first day of GCSE's! :ohnoes:

 

 

 

We had introductions into our new Upper school house and some rules and showing us our locker etc. So lessons started at our third period. All my subjects are 2 lessons now each :o lot's of work. Did double spanish and looks like these two years will be a breeze, I already know 5 of the 7 core topics! Then I had my first ever Business Studies lesson, we have a nice teacher and I answered most of the questions she asked so ya I'm a nerd :geek:. Then I had lunch which sucks now because 4 other year groups share it with us meaning it's impossible to find a table :(

 

 

 

Good thing is we have our Lunch Break joined with lunch making some sort of uber long breaktime! Though break wasn't fun because we don't have the sort of fun things to do like we had last year. :cry:

 

 

 

Oh yeah then I had maths, the first topic we're doing I know all about and we're expecting to finish GCSE maths this year meaning next year is practise for A level (I'm in the streamed maths groups).

 

 

 

Looks like I have good teachers all round and I'm really looking forward to my GCSE's! Oh ya turns out I'm in the "advanced" classes for every subject (except business, which doesn't have advanced classes as it is the first time our year has done it) so yeah,.. :ugeek:

Well, here's the full story and the reason why I was (probably) flipped off. The car she was in drove by and she flipped me off through the passenger window while I was wearing this:[hide=][/hide].

And the back window of their car had tons of Christian bumper stickers and all that. Sorry for wearing shirts of bands i like :? .
