Today I walked around town looking for a convenience store that had a caucasian owner. I didn't find one D:

Some girl that goes to my school killed herself on Saturday because some other girls were making fun of her on facebook. According to her friends this was the only form the bullying took, and it only happened a few times before. Unless there's something that hasn't been said, I have no sympathy for this person. It's the coward's way out, especially for something this stupid, and even more because she never made an attempt to report it or fight back.

 

The worst part? There was an announcement imploring us to be kind to each other. "Maybe some good will come of this afterall", I thought. Unfortunately, once again, I put way too much faith in these oxen that like to call themselves people. They immediately went home and made a facebook page mocking her.

There was (another) bomb threat at school today :thumbup: It was the second one in four months, and both times I was in a computer lab thing. I just lurked tif and listened to music for an hour and a half again :grin: On a completely unrelated topic, I found another /b/tard at school today :P

Well, my parents took the stray dog we found to the vet. No chips on it. So, we get to keep the dog. It's a tri-colored beagle, and it's cuuuuuuttttteeee.

Well I started Driver's Ed yesterday.

 

Might aswell share that since we are talking about driving.

We get [cabbage] prompts like "Write about a time someone encouraged you!"

 

Ah, I hate prompts or questions like that. I always know someone encouraged me at one point of my life, I just can't think of any examples.

Those are fun, you just make up a story with varying levels of ridiculousness depending on how confident you are in your writing abilities. And if it's in response to a story where you're supposed to relate to the character, always say that the exact same thing happened to you. It's fun, easy, and satisfying to know that you're going to frustrate the hell out of whoever is grading it since they know it's bull [cabbage], but can't grade you worse since they can't prove it.

Those were our prompts in elementary and middle school. Apparently they realized we can read by high school.

So the prompt was something like: "Characters in books often make single acts or mistakes that affect their lives. Select a character, describe him or her, the act or mistake, and how it affected their life and the book as a whole."

I wrote about how Sam promised to stay with Frodo (did he even do that in the books? I forgot lol). Then I basically wrote a summary of LotR. Absolutely waste of 4 pages lol...I'll probably do pretty badly since graders tend to hate my writing, though it's not like I care.

Otherwise, I had no real classes today. MCAS, free block, PE, home. Yea. Awesome enough.

Same, could have had my permit in October and license in April but it seems like a waste of time considering I live within walking distance of school and the library, and I wouldn't have a car to take anywhere else.

Let's see... Where I am you only need to be 14-15 for a permit, 15 or so for a school permit, and 16 for a license. I am 17, have my permit, and am taking D.E. in April. Win. :thumbup:

I drive my friends around most of the time. I would say I'm a good driver, seeing as they let me drive their cars. Hopefully I can get my license early in the morning on the first day of school next year. If not, it might take about a week. I don't have to take the test, though. Woo.

I know some people who just don't have the liscence to drive at all so it makes me feel better :P
