I'd only switch to PvP worlds...to PvP! Couldn't stand the risks otherwise. Then again, we don't know what 1% of the worlds will be safe so we'll have to see. Got to say with this new added Pk anywhere element, RuneScape will resemble the other MMORPGs out there that have no-holds-bar worlds/servers. ~Retired 13-July-2010~Thanks for the great memories folks :). Roseiah Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 I have never been a big pker so when this new update comes out, I doubt I will use it much. I am still looking forward to it a lot, because I feel that if it is what Jagex promises then it will be a great replacement for the wilderness. I think a lot of players will come back to the game and the players still playing might stop complaining a bit. Well at least until they find something to complain about. The quest will also shut a few players up about the easiness of the quests. So overall, a bit less complaining seems to be coming up which suits me fine. The economy will also benefit greatly because all the new pkers that will come out of this will need new equipment and everything else. The economy might sort itself out. You should stand at the Grand Exchange and listen to all the people in the levels between 30-70 shouting about how the wilderness is coming back, renevants will be all over the game etc. etc. :lol: Nobody seems to remember that it is nearly the exact same as the PvP combat system on RuneScape Classic, save for the random-drop reward. This is a perfect time for us to buy the whole Shark Market. I just love the idea that the two types of players (although there are hybrids of both) of Skillers and PKers get to leave each other alone in their separate worlds, and yet harmonise with each other, producing economical benefits for both. The only thing that bugs me is I hope that the major skilling spots on the non-pvp worlds will become crowded. I agree with those of you who hate PKers though.
