Snow & Snow Days

Featured Replies

I love snow, it's my favorite weather. I'm always jealous of the western part of my state (MI), they get so much snow because of the lake effect. But we still get a fair amount in the east.

Janurary 12, 2007 gentlemen. Snowed at the 2000 ft elevation; closer to the mountains but still urban Greater LA. History was made. =D> (regardless it was barely a inch, but ice was made)

If you do things right people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

A tiny bit of snow in Toronto, Ontario.

I'd like some after football season is over.

In St. Cloud, MN there is no snow on the ground. We had about 3" a week ago, but it's gone. It's just cold as hell and windy. Back in my hometown in Wisconsin I think they have minimal amounts, nothing significant yet, though.

Had a bit a few weeks ago, and had a dusting yesterday. It's been cold enough... just dry. And dry cold (with wind, I might add) is no fun.

Well were still getting 80 degree weather here in AZ.. It gets old, trust me. I can't wait to go back home to Washington in december, and hopefully have some snow on the ground by then.

About 6 inches sitting on the ground right now in Manitoba. Lake Manitoba is also frozen over. I've gone ice fishing since it's frozen to make sure. It usually starts snowing here around Halloween and the lake is usually frozen by this time as well. Some more snow and the ski-doo can come out and play. \'

No snow but it's been below 0 Celsius for a good week now, which means the mountains have been pumping out the fake snow. I'm definitely hitting Tremblant this weekend! \'

I was wondering this the other day actually, is there anywhere far south enough in Australia that it snows? I mean, not just a freak occurrence, but annual snowfall. I lived there in the spring and summer, when I was 6, so I don't remember much.

I live in Southern Ontario too, Sudbury here. Yesterday it snowed about 30cm. What city do you live in?

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.

Snow is a nice song ::' But no snow yet here. The last few years, snow has fallen in February/March. We almost never a white Christmas :(
