What movie(s) did you last see?

The Cable Guy (B)

The Jefferson Airplane is probably the best scene in the movie.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was really quite amazing. It was 166 min, but it kept my attention the whole time and really drew me in as if I was reading a book. Highly recommended.

Frost/Nixon A lot of talking. I expected it to be boring. But it wasn't.

Slumdog Millionaire I really liked the first hour, after that it got a bit more of the same. The movie had the same length as Frost/Nixon but where time flew by in that movie (quite an achievment for a movie with talking only) this one felt like it was three hours.

Just saw Defiance yesterday and I personally thought it was an amazing movie. One of the few movies I have ever come out of really feeling like it had been an exceptional movie.

just finished watching RocknRolla, the latest Guy Ritchie film.

if you've liked any of his previous movies, you'll love this one.

i'd give it an 8.5/10.

(it comes out on dvd this week, so if you have the time, i'd recommend watching it)

Just saw Bride Wars.

If you want to see it go ahead. It's not really that great.

Dolores Claiborne Normally I don't really care much for Stephen King movies. This was decent, still I think it's too tame. A thing I disliked was the music by Danny Elfman, it felt like it was constantly playing. I really liked the finally, which had a great fifties feel.

A Cross the Universe the documentary made from the 2007 (?) tour of Justice trough America. Lots of funny stuff, and good music (not lots of the music though). I enjoyed it a lot. Their tour-manager is hilarious.

Skipping everything I've seen in my absence from TIF the last few months, I've watched Interview with the Vampire this weekend - Ever since I wrote my thesis paper (Urgh! The horror!) on the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, I've been avoiding anything to do with them. Then I read and saw Twilight, and I got such an overdose of manic-depressive sparkling god-vampires, that I needed the better stuff to get on my feet again. The film has flaws, but unlike many other films from the early 90's, it hasn't become outdated. God knows I'm not a huge fan of Tom Cruise, but he's devilish, handsome and downright funny as Lestat.

Some recent good movies I saw:

Teeth: Hilarious and so original. Its a pretty strange film but this makes it so good. 8.5/10

Good Will Hunting - 9/10 - its a classic pretty much. A little bit cliche on the love part of it, but overall an amazing movie.

American History X - 10/10 Amazing acting, and in-depth characters and plot. Its just a movie that leaves you thinking.

Teeth is that movie with the lady that has teeth in her "Woman part"?

I saw that, too. Was good, and managed to pull off a quality vampire story that the Twilight series was oh-so-desperately trying to pull.

Will success spoil Rock Hunter? It's such a great movie. The opening titles alone are worth 10 out of 10. Frank Tashlin's animation background is clearly showing up again in this movie, Jane Mansfield is brilliant as a cheap Marilyn Monroe (you gotta love her squeeling!) and Tony Randall is great as this clumsy commercial writer.

Citizen Kane and Requiem for a dream.

Both were good and recommended. Requiem was a lot harder to watch type of movie. To me anyways.

I was so surprised when I saw Stringer Bell in RocknRolla. No idea he was British the whole time he was playing an American gangster

Gilda - A friend bought me the (very pretty) poster for my birthday, and since she hadn't seen it yet, she chose this one from my collection for a watch yesterday evening. This film is a mixed bag... It has definite flaws, especially in pacing, but Rita Hayworth is electrical and some of the noir shots are gorgeous. And of course, the scene with Rita Hayworth stripping her glove is classic.

I've watched recently the Wood & Stock: Sexo, Orégano e Rock'n'Roll http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0356201/ It wasn't the greatest movie I've seen but certainly not a bad one, it kept me entertained, tough i wouldn't recommend these kinds of movies to a general type of audiences.

i saw Indiana Jones 4 it was pretty good, i liked it but the end was a bit weird
