Does anyone know what he will be training next, and also I feel like he probably has a ridiculous amount of Alog days but hes been kind of out of the spotlight so he barely got talked about

I reckon he will still do daily Dung + Sinkholes. Especially since I snatched about 190k exp from him in 1 sinkhole.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?~ Marianne Williamson

Definitely, he will continue with sinks and daily challenges for DG.

And @ Kr148, looks like smith is his next skill of choice. Not sure whether artisans workshop or rune platelegs... I will assume platelegs.

There are a few people still grinding out div so its going to be quite tight for the next 10 spots

new skill will almost guaranteed be drumgun, he has the money/time/people to get him there. unless the new skill has some sort of new mechanic we havent seen before, i dont expect anyone to give him a huge run for his money outside of maybe suomi and spinners

Expect Geel to have 200m Div in just over a month probably around 6/7 to achieve it depending on how others play.  Otherwise, he's putting up some impressive numbers since returning. Glad to see him back.

Also for new skill, I wouldn't count out Geel or Forsberg888. Geel started Div late and was still in the running top 2 until he took a little break. Fors can also hammer it out. I'm sure it will be interesting. Also... If it doesn't include much GP I could see no xpwaste up there too. He can put in the hours, and he also started div even later while finishing off 200m fish.

I do not think the skill will be a buyable like the skills we have today. It's a complimentary skill to Divination, I foresee some kind of gathering involved other than divine energies.

It would make it out of reach for many players and quite unfair to release pure "buyable" at this point.

No xpwaste currently needs 7687 hours to achieve 5.2b XP.

What does Drowns need and is he in the top 15 yet? Since he isn't maxed, I can imagine him being frequently overlooked.

I personally don't like the idea of Inventor, it doesn't sound like a realistic skill lol, and it just sounds like it would make stuff kinda more OP than what it is already. But I also don't think ti will be a straight out buyable skill, though it would be great with a big money sink skill that would hopefully help clean out the economy a bit, similar to what construction did back in the day.

So.. Forsberg888 is about to overtake Paperbag for rank 9, and I'd expect Geel to overtake Elvis for rank 7 soon aswell.

Movement in the top 10 - yay!

:(

its okay i dont think anything can stop the forstrain

Hi all,

Late last year Mod Balance and I made comments about AHK's and mousekeys, specifically whether or not they were aginat the rules. A few of you weren't satisfied with our response to the situation and so we escalated the issue to our anti-cheating specialists who have confirmed that our statements were correct.

They have confirmed that:

Mousekeys (i.e. the windows accessibility tool) is allowed (it always has been); anything else is third party software and is not. If the team see evidence that a player is using AHK's, super-mousekeys or any other versions of this macroing software then they will take action against them. If a player is using normal mousekeys, they won't. The team are perfectly capable of detecting both and telling the different between them.

When it comes to skilling, mousekeys can potentially give an advantage when it comes to emptying the inventory quickly, however this requires a certain level of skill, though the following section of macroing rule is quite clear in regards to this behaviour:

"Software that generates input to our game applets. This includes software that automatically moves the mouse pointer or generates mouse clicks or key presses."

Now, mousekeys do not generate input as that is done by the user; it doesn't automatically move the mouse pointer to a specified coordinate, it moves it at a steady pace in the direction specified by the key pressed (2,4,6 or 8) and stops doing so when the key is released. It doesn't generate mouse clicks (as that is done by the user pressing 5) and it doesn't generate key presses. Without augmentation or modification (adjusting the inbuilt settings is not augmentation or modification and is fine) mousekeys are not capable of violating the rules against third party software.

This has always been our stance and our rules are clear in what is and isn't allowed, however as the HLF forum contained a number of threads asking for clarification I felt it appropriate to post this here.

Thanks,
Mod Infinity

Personally, I think this is pretty bullshit and it's pretty clear that mod infinity doesn't actually know what ahk does, but rules are rules.

Funny how so many people forget about Geel.

Geel currently needs 1.5k less hours than Forsberg888.

Any chance  you could do a top 15 list as to your best knowledge of the current contenders?

If the new skill is buyable, it could end up costing 20-30b+ for first person to get it. Maybe nobody at the top will be #1 unless they have a massive cash pile set aside.

FWIW(which isn't really much at this point) in the Question/Answer thread for the invention skill, when asked about whether or not the skill will be buyable the response was something along the lines of "The XP increase for the 'buyable' portion should only be around 5% better" Obviously the skill is still in planning, and they don't have XP rates, or really anything, planned. So that could change, but a 5% increase isn't a drastic increase.

I believe it was also stated that the XP rates are currently planned to be around the same rate as smithing XP. FWIW.
