200M in all Skills

I had a talk with telmo a few weeks ago about his fail Xp/hr calcs. He didn't calculate it from the same point to the same point, but rather just calced a rate off like 3mins time and multiplied by 20. This can give very skewed results when not counting every proper banking time.

yes he starts of the video while burying, still around 1400k per hour should be very possible to maintain for 24 hours ;D for our fellow record setters

I have a question. I read somewhere that a true power Slayer is XX % of the time in combat, and not standing still, waiting for the loot to appear, or running around to attack far away monsters. Does anybody still know how much of the time it is?

I'm not entirely sure if this post is serious or why you decided to post it on this thread but the answer is 100%, it's pretty doable you just have to lure the monster you're currently fighting in between hitting it with your weapon.

Has any of you(referring to this and another answer) tested this or is it just a vague guess? As far as i've seen and heard, the maximum is around 3450 seconds in combat(according to the number of hits), with anything above 3300 considered good. Auto retaliate in auto-attack situations gets between 3150 to 3300 seconds of combat.

This plus time in between tasks (usually 2-3 minutes, but varies greatly). It also depends on which tasks you do...on Ice Strykewyrms, time is spent stomping on each mound, on a Jad task you have to run around a lot, the spacing between monsters varies greatly from task to task.

For example, if your average task time is 28 minutes, the average time in between tasks is 2 minutes, and you spend on average 90% of your time on task in combat, you end up spending 84% of your time slaying in combat. If you were just trying to train your melee stats and not slayer, you could approach 100% time in-combat in many spots by making your trips as long as possible and concentrating.

But that's not really a good approximation since Slayer is so personalized and a higher percentage of time spent in combat is not necessarily indicative of better Slayer experience.

I can happily say I was getting a tiny bit less Xp/p/hour than Tel and I was using normal Dragon bones and it was before the "all" thing :)

If you're wondering how; I had people bring me the bones to my house :)

Oh, I wasn't using Brawlings either.

How many bones/hr were you doing?

I'm not entirely sure, it was a number of years ago now :(

It was definitely more than Tel was doing in that image per 2 minutes.

Anyone have an idea as to why Auss is camping easy treasure trails?

Her adventurers log is full of them

I don't know, but that's an awful lot for one day (2nd Jan, today).

Before the "all" thing the speed of burying bones was equal to the speed you could click - just like cleaning herbs is. (So ultimatelly you could do 28 bones in 0.6 seconds). And 10 bones a second were very well possible with runners.

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Drumgun, if you happen to read this, could you post some info about your current goals? is it still 200m in the first 12 skills of the hiscores? That would explain why you are training fletching, wc and ranging. and probably saving money up for 200m pray. Then just the painful fishing and the fast fm to go!

It would be an awesome goal, 12 200m skills in a row, and even hunter and summoning too.

Well, not too worried about fish tbh. Theres some studying and other irl stuff coming up so I'll be enjoying rocktails alot. I do play alot of other games aswell (pile of consoles standing next to me lol) so yup, but it'll take quite long yeah. Tds to gain 4b geepees and use the effigies on fish, then I'll have enough money for pray craft and fm + a nice chunk of fish exp. Wc and fletch will be done fast but I need to leave 1 of the 2 open for them effigies (wc/fletch choice), so probly leaving wc open for a long while, no interesting ranks to gain from that anyway. Pretty sure I'll get this done in 1 year, if not then it'll likely be fishing that I'll still be working on. If I'm still liking Rs/if it still exists by then (lol)/if there's enough time left I might get smith and mining for fun too. But don't hold me to that - idk if I'll get around to it. And I guess I need to fit dung somewhere in there...that depends on gf really, since I only dung with her in the team :P

So yup, first 13 skills 200m is pretty certain. I'm a bit scared to put too much effort into it, since I think the game might shut down. Atleast I'll have gained alot of (gaming) records from it when that happens, besides fun. :)

Why don't you think the game will last. Just out of curiosity.

suomi just rcs when bes bored i think, he may get 99 eventualy but i think hes doing it for assisting atm

hes still dunging mainly but he does skills like wc and rc whenever dung dies down at the bad hours

@ drumgun, you probably shouldnt put off dung for later, because dungeoneering is dying. in a year from now if you decided to begin dunging, ud be in big trouble.

believe it or not dung is the only skill thats actualy becoming slower every day, november was the prime of dung, the 120m+ xp record by toonami was done, finding a team of amazing dungers took seconds, all the greatest dungers and keyers to ever play were part of it. now most of them are 200m/120 and have quiit.

25 mins was average then, now it feels like the avg floors is about 28. 3bo may eventualy die, its slowly starting to. once that happens large dungs in 148 will average 40 minutes and the skill itsself will have gone from 300-400k/h to about 200-250k/h

in a few days when breaks over it will take a huge hit

in ~10 days when zaros godwars comes out it will take a huge hit

this summer it may be lively again so finding a team may be easy, but the quality of dungers will be trash

by the end of summer it will "die" most likely, and unless you have friends similar to you, youll be better off soloing and gaining 200k xp/h tops

i think its pretty obvious that jagex will improve solo dungeoneering a lot. not only because the keyer is actually doing 90% of the dungeon and a team would be unbalanced with activity whatsoever, i usually dont take predictions very serious, but aasiwat has mentioned something similar to that, i mean the improvement of solo dungeoneering, and him taking it on then probably
