Cow Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Unfortunately, they don't show up if you have the game filter on.This is the same for members. I'm conflicted about it. On one hand it's neat to see when people max/comp/achieve a 99. On the other hand, there's spam every ~5 minutes of some completely unknown name getting 99 fletching, people using shattered heart to send 20 maxed total messages completely spamming the screen, and (previously) annoying gielinor games updates.An actual toggle option would be nice: "messages: off/friends/public, all/completionist/max/same world as me" as well as taking them off of game filter. These give you the level-ups at the same time, so you get max total for each 99. Then when you log into the game it gives you a "I'm not ready" option so you don't have to activate the trial. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. I was always proud of how F2P was somewhat oldschool, and resembled the times when things weren't given for free. Now it appears they are starting to pour free xp into the F2P side of the game as well, which I think cheapens the achievements of players. Of course, most of us remember how records were made without any kind of bonus multipliers or whatever, but that won't necessarily mean much in the upcoming years. Giving free xp was always one of the things I thought were ruining the game, I hope it doesn't stay in F2P. 1 My words, but a whisper - your deafness, a shout.-If the future's looking dark, we're the ones who have to shine. At the very least it should serve as a motivation for some of us to train our lower and slower skills, and isn't that what it's all about anyways? I'll also see how far I can run with it.
