Before I go on the official forums, I will now predict what people are complaining about.

 

- Treasure Trail everytime: IT"LL CRASH THE ECONOMY, MAKE ALL THE DROPS WORTHLESS

 

-Dungeoneering exclusives: LOL TRYING TO PROMOTE YOUR FAIL SKILL, GF JAGEX

 

-WoM: REQUIREMENTS ARE TOO HIGH/LOW, WHO DO YOU THINK PLAYS THIS GAME

 

Everything: COVERING UP YOUR CONSPIRACY FOR THE CLIMBING BOOTS? LOL EVERYTHING IS FAIL.

Yes, actually. Though I only see one update they can screw up. That being TT, either they create a false hype, and the items aren't that great, or they create a glitch that gives you infinite items or something.

 

Well...

 

TT: - new items with high stats compared to the items ingame now, rendering the previous items +- useless.

- high rarity for items who should really be widely accessible, only hoarders will benefit

 

Quest: - a 5-minuter with incredibly lame story

 

Dungeoneering exclusives: - extremely high dungeoneering lvl reqs, while the highest prestige/floor currently is 35 at lvl 69 dungeoneering, making it kinda pointless to grind the skill before batch 2 is released.

 

I hope they take the right decisions though. :razz:

 

Which they won't roll back and the few will be able to keep their "only hundreds" of items.

And I've always wanted a TT update like that one; nothing's more disappointing than blitzing past stupid revenants a dozen times to get a pair of rune scimitars and a magic longbow.

so this update will also introduce a brand new set of treasure trails called the elite treasure trails and new rewards.

And take away the only decent reward from mobilising armies, leaving that minigame with nothing. I hope not.

 

I was under the impression that you would merely be upgrading your Ring of Kinship, and that it would only be useful as a specialized ring within the halls of Daemonheim (and any future dungeons).

not entirely excited for quest or the new tts, i dont do any but if these lvl 4 are very rare and very rewarding i might do one per day or so

 

id say the 3rd age prayer armor looks promising, im hoping its better than prossy in every way

 

the dung batch 1.5 thing looks pretty nice, i liked the whole ring idea till i read this, now i understand the ring modes will have tiers also, till you finaly work it clear up to tier 10 for each role, such as tier 10 berserker, tactition, tank, skiller, mage, range

 

tier 10 in all 6 would take super long i hope, now i love the idea

 

prediction for the dung update is monday the 12th

 

1. most updates are on monday

2. batch 1 was released on april 12th, this is exactly the 3 month mark

3. makes me believe batch 2 will come october 12th, its sorta end of year yet still reletively close and this will mark another 3 month block

 

the only thing i like about this quest is the medium lvl reqs, finaly a quest with medium skill hopefully well see high later, as ing high 80/ low 90 reqs on some gmqs later

 

still no elite diarys, oh well if they come next month ill be better prepared anyways

 

 

dung batch 1.5 also said more dung rewards, very very nice idea since ive already bought every single usefull reward

I am of course excited for the dungeoneering expansion. I love the construction hotspot idea.

 

I'm also the type of person who doesn't do TT anymore; maybe the elite clues will encourage me.

I hope these new Elite TTs are dropped by some bosses which currently drop level 3, EG DKS, zil, etc. I was just hoping for upgraded TT's too.

I'm still not understanding the "always get a trail item from TT rewards", unless Jagex means that you'll always get something like firelighters or any other of those equally useless trail specific items when completing a clue scroll.

well idk, the bts mentions everything in the blog except the floors, maybe they forgot to mention them or they'll come later

They mentioned a dungeoneering update (with the above-said content) BEFORE batch 2, so this counts as batch 1.(something) (most likely 1.5)

I doubt that there will be much change to current TT only item's rarity, just filling out the rest of the space on the other drops.

 

I DO hope that in the epic level clues, third age stuff goes from Epicly Rare, to just Very Rary.

I stopped doing them as well. Then I did a random clue one day and got a 3a helmet. Now I don't do them any more because I ran out of luck for the next 500 or so :P
