Blastbox - [developmentally delayed]ed. Why not all elemental spells? Useless for members.

 

Herbacide - Okay, WTF are they thinking? Countless people have suggested a herb bag, but you want us to destroy our precious herbs for a tiny little sliver of experience? This is only useful for players who are so filthy rich that they don't want to pick up herbs anymore.

 

 

The box is Intended to be used by F2p, it even mentions it in the update article "Free players can learn a technique to become more efficient at smithing and charge special boxes with spells to cast", it's sorta like the gravite weapons and Longbow sight. Nice for f2p, useless to P2p

 

 

Also, about the Herbacide. Did you miss the part about you being able to choose which herbs it burns? I would love to have it. I'd have it burn Guam, marrentill and tarromin. It doesn't automatically burn every herb drop.

I agree i think ill pick up the herbacide my guess is you earn about 500xp per full load of herbs while killing chaos druids if you collect 5 loads a day thats 2500xp per day x 30 days 75k extra herb xp per month...

I knew it, I [bleep]ing knew it. JaGeX is such a POS company it's undescribable by any human language. They increased the floors to level 93 and NONE - NONE of the rewards are above level 70 when the FIRST batch was 80. Not to mention EVERY reward sucks MEGA ass. Oh and where the hell is "the eye of the warrior" which was promised by JaGeX and was probably the ONLY rewards that wouldn't have sucked. I really just feel like quitting this POS game right now. Wtf was even the POINT of these new floors when no rewards are gotten from them? :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

Gona have to agree. Only good rewards seem to be MAYBE the vigor ring and herbicide, although they cost too much. Was hoping for new ways to get weapons back, possibly upgrades you can add onto weapons, etc.

 

However, the new floors are AMAZING looking, and the increased xp is FTW. Just gona be a pain in the ass to rush f1-30 or w/e.

This. Surely Jagex wouldn't make a ranged piety and not allow it to inflict increased overall damage.. I mean I understand it with mage, as that's how the current mage prayers are.. but range? :mellow:

Erm, since the update I've joined 3 teams who said they were making large dungeons, but twice they have been medium and just now it was small. Is this some glitch that's happening to anyone else or is it just some weird coincidence that this would happen 3 times in a row? =/

If it's anything like the mage version, it has an incredibly high drain rate... And besides... It costs 3/4 of a chaotic weapon, and ranged got the short end of the stick in every possible way with Dungeoneering.

I know that it's not worth it to use it on Torstols, but for argument's sake, let's say Torstols are worth 1gp, so essentially you get 15 extra xp per torstol.

 

99 herblore is 13m xp. If you got torstols all the time, you'd get 433k drops to get the level. So no, it's not going to add up, and it's not going to add up fast.

 

Now think about how slow it's going to be if you only use it on cheap herbs...

Wording on the spec ring got changed, looks like it might affect all items now

 

Members only. Requires an Attack level of 62 and a Dungeoneering level of 62. The ring of vigour has a strength bonus, and reduces the cost of any special attack by 10%.

 

This is mostly relevant for ranged:

65% * .9 = 58.5

58.5 * 2 = 117

 

So its possible to do 2 dbow specs in a row now in safe pvp

 

It's also now possible to do 2 MSB shots in a row in any pvp context

Well, it's not like any of the other rewards are really worth it at this point. Also, it's not like the bonecrusher at all, since it's double the xp. It will also save you time if you're one of those people that likes to pick up and clean herbs during tasks for the free xp.

 

You wouldn't save time not getting, since you're going to probably be leveling dungoeneering in the end anyways. So why not do it sooner then later, and get the rewards that benefit (while not a huge ammount) sooner. It's sort of like slayer. What's more efficient. Getting 99 combat stats, THEN training slayer? Or Training slayer while training your combat stats.

 

Unless you honestly plan to NEVER dungoeneering again, getting even the small benefit rewards sooner, is more worthwhile.

Bah, the magical blastbox is a major dissapointment aswell, you have to wield it for it to work(+5 magic attack and def) and only accepts death+air or chaos+air runes, so the one inventory space wasted actually means one space+shield slot wasted, and i was already hoping that they'd made something useful....(a box that stores fire blast runes for example).
