I've done about 150k RC xp over about 4k ess so far in 2hr 30.

 

I'm 28% of my way to 77 though - I'm not sure that I'll get it all done before I reach 1.1 but I'll just keep going after that. I'm determined to be able to mage in DG again ;)

I think the main reason I moved a bunch more is than I had a giant pouch. I was using all 4 pouches, no familiar, and could deposit-all because I filled my bank with Holiday junk :thumbup:

Yeah, I can't use a Giant Pouch yet. And aswell, I didn't have the deposit all and had to right-click each rune seperately to bank them, which added up obviously :P

I've done 1h45 of RC so far, 3600 ess done, I'm a little slow, but the xp is still awesome for RCing. Approx 135k xp.

 

Although I'm already getting bored. 12% of the total ess done.

I've done about 40min so far, and have gained somewhere between 900-950k farming experience. What I left...

 

Tonight: 5 magic trees (165k exp)

Sunday Morning: 5 magic trees, 5 palms, 1 calquat (315k exp)

 

I have to find out when exactly the bonus experience ends, because if doesn't end until say Monday 5PM EST, then I could another run in on Sunday night, and then again Monday morning before moving to construction and crafting. I only plan to get down to the 1.7-1.9x multiplier.

Ok, I think something's wrong. It's been 24 hours now and those trees haven't grown. Also I replanted yews about 8 hours ago. Is replanting trees not working during the weekend?

So far I've done 1m Herb exp (66 -->77), 400k+ Farm exp (81 --> 83 and rising), Agility 70 --> 74, Summoning 38 --> 56.

 

I'm now doing crafting with holy symbols, hoping to get 70 --> 75.

I know what you mean. I'm never in the mood to get SC hammers, so any bonus exp I can get is welcome. 14h making teak tables; I feel like an Ethan Allen store.

I actually made 700gp profit per potion based on the time I bought my herbs/seconds, from selling the potions yesterday, on the road from 81-88/89 herblore.. I'm actually very happy about this. :thumbsup: Something more to add to all the profit from farming and merchanting herblore items the past 2 weeks. It's been real nice on RS lately.

Common misconception actually. The timer doesn't "reset" at all, but is rather "skipped" given the certain circumstances. Most of the added time comes from disease rather than logging. (see discussion below)

Each farming plant is broken down into mini-segments which carry from plant to plant. Some plants (like limpwurts) are broken down into 2.5 minute timers. Other plants, such as herbs are broken down into 5 minute timers. If you are in process of logging in/out when the timer "clicks" to go to the next growth stage, the timer will be skipped and you lose the stage that would have progressed. For small plants that only make be a few minutes, but for large tree's missing the growth timer could be 30 minutes.

 

Logging in/out on the the timer itself wont add to much to the growth of a tree, but what really adds up the time is disease. While a tree can still be watched, that does not keep the tree from being diseased. It simply won't die if being watched while diseased. Think of a tree being watched as having plant cure put on the tree every 2.5 minutes by the farmer. So the tree won't die, but still feel the time increasing effects of disease. (It will miss a cycle every time the tree gets diseased.)

 

A tree getting diseased and "auto-cured" 3-4+ times by the farmer watching it could have a dramatic effect on the total amount of time the tree takes to grow. In some cases the tree could end up almost double the normal growing time (though that would be very rare). This is most often seen with longer growing trees as they have more opportunity to become diseased. Calquat and Spirit trees have about a 30-50% chance to be delayed at some point in their time growing (as per personal experience growing them to 99).

As for my bonus weekend, I decided to do as much herb as I could and then proceed with ZMI. Got +1 herb levels and +1 RC levels. I'm defiantly stocking up though for the next DXPW and maybe plan to get 99 herb on that if possible.

Got done with my charms, finally, barely got past my slayer xp with summoning, but considering i only pick crims/blues and am very picky with the tasks i do, it's a nice result. So far, 7m herb xp, 6.8m summoning xp, hoping to get another 500k+ slayer before monday for a nice 1m slayer during the event(245 muted bloodveld on 1,8 multiplier in 35 mins = win :thumbsup: )

Later when I get back I'm going to check my 5 palm trees/spirit tree (I hope)/calquat tree/5 yew trees. Then circus. Then idk what else, I have so much on my multiplier left (Probably slayer and dung).

Went from 8,064,487 craft exp to 10,694,745 xp (94-97) from cutting the emeralds I bought :D very happy with this bonus xp weekend. Will get the last 2 craft levels through assisting effigies everyday. Next up, 96 fishing for the upcoming elite diary.

I've learned from a friend, that whenever there is a system update, anything that is planted and is still growing at the time of the update, the timer for the growth becomes messed up somehow. My friend had her fruit trees growing during a system update, and they didn't finish growing almost 2 days later.

Gone from 74 - 89 herb. I think I'm done now, even though I still have about 3k pots left to make.
