March 4, 201313 yr Plothole, major spoiler: Sliske used the complete Staff of Armadyl to kill Guthix. Didn't the Dragonkin break it during ROTM? Talking to Azzanadra mentions that he found the staff at the Ritual site and took it with him, but the head it complete and ROTM was very explicit about it being broken -- you pick up the shards of it to make your Armadyl Battlestaff. As powerful as he is Sliske could have easily killed enough Glacors to get 100 shards to make the orb to put back on top of the staff. Pretty sure there is a difference between the Staff of Armadyl and an Armadyl battlestaff.

Pretty sure there is a difference between the Staff of Armadyl and an Armadyl battlestaff. Of course there is, but the orb is the same. The STAFF is the part that is different. It was only snapped in half. Easy enough to be collected and repaired.

March 4, 201313 yr I don't know about anyone else, but this idea of Sliske killing Glacors for the Staff of Armadyl is one of the best things from this update imo. Greatly enjoyed the quest. It's really nice to have one that isn't "and so, our hero slayed the ancient evil and the world is safe once more".
