What is the best order of upgrades/crap to buy in the pincers?

You will not get as much crew rolled in older regions, so i'd focus on crew whenever possible then ship upgrades :P

Rudder > Crew > Combat Hull > SF Rigging > Anything else you want.. That's the way I did it. :).

Trio stories comes in a line as well, and only rewards resources at the end of that line. (I think the line is 2 stories long, maybe 3...)

Are there any estimates as to what price the armours might level off at when they finish dropping?

I think that since most high level players would rather get the armor that they don't have to keep buying, it'll end up as a nontraded item

There is a tier three which costs 10000 steel and 5000 cherrywood, for 15% bonus xp. So worth it :D.

What I don't get in the port workshop is that big mystical looking book stand - it clearly looks rc related as if that is where you'd go make magic armour from chi...so why is mage armour on the anvil outside?

Magic armour is made on the crafting table, not the anvil. The big magical book is part of the scrimshaw crafter I guess, possibly related to RC, but clearly the determining factor is how accurate you can etch/carve the bones?.

It is, only workshop items, and Tetsu legs aren't 120k xp each anymore if the patch notes are accurate. If you make 30k xp worth of items per week, the workshop upgrades are a brilliant 1500 extra xp weekly! My my, isn't that something.

Just in case you guys were wondering about going price, I just sold this like an hour ago.

 

Some people said they were annoyed that the end-story rewards were different from that respective adventerurs rewards...but from the assassin, it kinda seems normal as when he comes back he's like "ahh yes! the death lotus are defeated!" and he brings back lacquer which is used to make death lotus. Doesn't seem too random to me, makes more sense than spices from the assassin. Although I am speaking from never reading the story voyages cause they don't really interest me lol
