Hmmm... I think I searched for a quest guide and I found tip.it and I started using it for all of it's quests and skill guides for RSC. I joined the forums for no apparent reason, probably to ask questions.

I joined to access the graveyard, then realized there were other cool forums like this one and i also like help & advice :)

I used some skill guides back from RSC when my friend showed me Tip.It, and later, I decided to join the forums because the Official Forums are filled with (in my opinion) people who are, well, not so intelligent :P

when dragon platelegs were released, i wanted to see what full dragon looked like, and they had a link to a picture on the forum from the main page, and thats it :oops:

well, i actually had been reading the news article about the drop party last year (or whenever...second most recent) since i had not joined, i could not look at the pretty pictures of it. i joined, then posted then more. you get the idea.

 

 

 

like many, i had been usining the guides/calculators rather prolifically (i spelled that wrong. i know it.) before i actually joined the forums.

 

 

 

and all these smilies are driving me crazy (not as bad as runehq yet)

mostly for help. cause i'm one of those people that when i get a new vid game the first thing i do is look up the cheats. i always know what i'm doing first. :D

I joined tip.it because scapeboard didn't exist anymore :(

I joined when rumours of RS2 started to grow back in Scapeboard. Since I wasn't a member, I wanted to see what was going on. Then it died, then I joined Tip.It

A friend of mine, who uses this forum, used my name from Rs and used it on this forum. I don't remember why he did, but one day I was on tip.it, using the quest guides, and I saw "Forums". Well, I've been using the Quest Guides since I was lvl 26, on my first account, so it's been a year when I saw it. I tried to make an account, with my name, but it was taken. I talked to my friend about how wierd that was and he told me he made that account. He gave it to me and I'm using it. I've officially been using this forums for a year, so that makes my RuneScape career of 2 yrs.

i joined cuz i wanted to read oddfaery2's dagganoth king guide, it said you have to be logged in to view this section of the forums, so i just signed up

I joined because I wanted to bid on a slave, when they had that event going on. And also the fact that world 9 is and always will be my hometown , so what the heck I decided to stay after the bidding . Glad I did I met so many nice new people here.. :)

I joined tip.it because I start play at work and didn't know anyone that play in real life or had friends in the game (was f2p newbie) and after fast google search I found tip.it website. few weeks later joined the forum to see what going on :) play since then and use tip.it all the time.

I joined members and was full of questions. After reading every P2P guide through and through, I was still full of questions. So I came to the boards, registered, and asked some of my questions. Was less active for a while then. Untill I just stumbled across the forums again, logged in and started reading some stuff :). I then saw this sticky "how to join the tipit crew", that seemed unbelievably neat to me. ANd I said to myself. Wow, how cool would that be?

Kinda foggy thinkin' back then but if I recall right there was a post (not reallt so long ago when you think about it) about haveing pictures of the new dagonoth kings and me being a complete poor and weak guy back then was fasinated by just seeing a picture of the huge things and their precious drops.

 

I of course clicked the link going to a thread in general P2P and it said i needed to make an account. So well, I think even the slowest of people could figure out how it ended from there :P

I remember that a friend told that there was a pick of someone in full dragon on tip.it (full dragon was very very rare then)

 

i wanted to see it so i joined lol :P

I've been using Tip.it since i started RS and i loved the website...I saw these little links to "Discuss the latest Update" but when i clicked them it said i wasn't logged in, So i waited 2 months and gave in, then joined and made an Account called "aussy321" but i got banned for scamming on the marketplace (my friend was posting it not me :-w ). Then for 4 months i couldn't go on Tip forums, Make a new account or log out.... But then it magically disappeared and i beat up my friend for making me leave tip.it.

I'd been lurking for a while, so decided to join ;)

I was searching for PK vids, came across this site and it said i had to join, so i did.. watched a few vids and commented on them and then started to use the whole site and now love it! <3

I really can't remember. So long ago. I suppose i was browsing the tip it site one day, when i came across that fancy little button at the top that said "FORUM".

i joined here cause i needed somewhere to buy and sell stuff while i was f2p but im a member now so im hooked.

because i loved the guides, and hated the fact i couldnt post piccies in RSF

Because I wanted to find out what the muddy key was used for, I posted it in the Help and Advice forum. :P

wasn't tip.it on the runescape.com website as a fansite... for a short time? maybe im making cabbage up.
