July 18, 201015 yr Well now I consider myself super inactive. I have pretty much vowed to quit RS now and have went to PvP to die with pretty much most of my bank. It was just mainly a decision I made irl about a time to move on seeing as I've been with this game since RSC. But I still keep in touch with my friends in my clan as well as visit Tip It occasionally just to see what's going on. It is honestly a pretty difficult game to let go just because of the community aspect of the game. Hopefully in a month or two though I can fully get off RS. Then again I never know since I do get the occasional nastalgia where I want to come back and pk with my friends or war with my clan.

However, after taking a year break due to school, I came back this summer, interested, and realized there is a lot of content still to be touched. The doomsayers who say it's on it's last legs, are just doomsayers. They will always be around. On the other hand, I do agree that if microtransactions are to become common, I will become frustrated with the company and leave. I'll continue to play as long as I have time and am interested. I'd say the people who are quitting these days are mostly quitting due to bots or ridiculous content, which is Jagex's fault. At least in some respects.
