Alt + Q + Q was a shortcut used in Warcraft 3 to exit the game. The "QQ" started with DotA, a map for Wc3, where when somebody started whining, others would respond with "QQ". In other words saying that the player should shut down the game and stop playing, usually because they too "noob" to play. I'll bet 90% of the kids running around here and on RS saying QQ don't even know what it means in its true form ;)

Go rant on your electrical company's website forum because I fail to see what a power outage has to do with RS and why you should come here and rant about it. Can't even call it a rant really its more or less a post where one states he/she is quitting, in hopes of somebody noticing them. The above qualifies more as a rant and I wasn't even trying.

Take the money and run of course! Or in this case, stay, and sell the guy his stuff back. I used to do that alot in the wild either to people I pked or others who afk-died. Sometimes they couldnt afford the rune large and legs they had lost so they returned to the training spot with adamantite substitutes, much to my amusement. If I ever died I would expect anybody near my pile to do the same. Also if they returned it for "free" I would always see to it that they were paid either in GP or by other means. I recognize the term "honor" in video games and the fact that some see themselves as obligated to uphold "justice". But also realize that an honorable act could also appear in the form of not rewarding a person for an act of stupidity, i.e going afk and dying.

All good and valid points. Perhaps the only real necessity if any at all, would be an "Auction" section.. I dunno I just love auctions. Everybody does :D Starting at 1 pot and 3 banana's and ending at 100 million, you can't beat that feeling!

yeah her mining in still only level 95 she's not autoing is why, lol ! say hi to king sabre if he ever goes to your forums. we used to hang around alot when we were in our level 30's and 40's than he went inactive and i became too high level to hang out with him, haha.. oh and in additional information in chapter two you might want to re-write where it states bluerose was the first famous miner. Dmonik was the first famous miner and Twy was the first REALLY famous miner. blue always had sucky mining lvl compared to smithing lvl due to the fact that she stopped mining when her smithing business took off :D anyways, GO SABRES! and gladz, and THE. the 3 best clans still around with a fun history to it reading the sabre history really brought back good memories and memories of people i totally forgot about. flex 10, viii edea . miss those adventures

Seeing as trading will return to what it once was with exception of the GE still being around. Would it not be a good idea to bring back some of the old forum sections of the tip.it Marketplace? I can't see the future but I can imagine alot of people will be holding auctions of various items and/or items in mass quantities i.e ore/bar sales like the good ol' times :) It would avoid alot of confusion in the current Marketplace. Below is a suggestion for what the sectors could be divided into, leaving room for suggestions. Armour/Weapons Ores/Bars/Fletching Farming/Herblore Cooking Miscellaneous (Bank Sales, Rares, Odds & Ends) Runners/Slaves/Other services. Happy gaming!

In 2001 there was a poll taken wether or not pking all over the Runescape world should cease to exist and something named the wilderness should be implemented instead. The wilderness won and it only took about a month before it was put into the game as far as I remember. Back than they had a crew of maybe 10 people so whoever says it can't be done in 15 days with the resources they have now doesn't know what they are talking about. When the wilderness was implemented it took up like 30% of the existing Runescape world btw. But lets not take Jagex for idiots. Everybody knows that when a poll comes for change that the majority will vote FOR the change out of sheer curiosity. Imagine Jagex writing a few months ago in a newsletter that they are working on bringing the Wilderness and free trade back, without having a poll. People in these forums and everywhere else would have their panties tied up in a bunch and go berserk over it, calling Jagex more idiotic stuff than they already do so if they in reality already were working on the update it was a very clever move to have a poll. You can't say the poll was rigged, because it probably wasn't and there is no proof it was. But any fool could tell you that the vote would swing in favour of change. As you may or may not have noticed, I'm playing the devils advocate here.

Clearly retired, the whole point is that the game has been disproportionately laggy as of late. haha, oh well. you could log on to any given computer at any time of day on any given server and the game will still lag whenever it seems fit ;) *puffs pipe and rocks chair*

lol when rs1 was at its prime the boards here were sometimes unbearable, granted i did my best to participate , and so did Mercifull as far as I remember , haha! The drama - oh the drama!! I loved that stuff got started here on tip.it and than carried over in-game, be it clan relationships tearing apart or boyfriend/girlfriend relationships ending in wilderness backstabbing. Than came round 2, flaiming eachother :) But yes, the blog could be 10x longer and still be very interesting to read. Rune was supposed to be purple for example, Paul walked around with a purple helmet in the game a few times getting people to follow him around. Andrew is quoted for saying that "there most like won't be a rune 2 hander in Runescape, as such a weapon would be far too powerful". Thats some funny stuff right there.

I'm having a hard time remembering that.. Oh well, maybe it's because people ALWAYS played for 99s :) No they didn't...only when skill capes came out did people start caring about level 99. Really? Because people had 99 woodcutting, fishing, firemaking, magic, smithing, mining and lots of other skills, before skill capes were introduced. Rendering your arguement invalid :)

Its a game. If you disrespect me in a game, call me a bot, call me all kinds of names because I didn't do EXACTLY what you wanted, then I am going to F with you. Let there be no doubt, that I can be the biggest ass in runescape. Its a matter of personal pride of course. Nothing you elistists can't understand... What differentiates you from us then? Most of the people you call "efficiency clowns" really don't care THAT much for efficiency. Moreover, what you have against us isn't the fact that we're "efficient" - if that's your actual annoyance, then that's pretty unfounded and unreasonable. If you think "efficiency" is a sin, I seriously wonder what you do in real life because almost all business is based off of efficency. What you have against us is that 1) we flame you and 2) we can act arrogant You do the same to us It's really pretty silly. I believe its more the "I'm efficient and need every breathing soul to know this" part that irritates most people.

Doesn't that contradict the definition of 'perfect'? :P Doesn't that contradict the definition of 'sarcasm'? :P If a perfect person does a 'perfect' kill on Tekken, while intending to die with 90% of hp bar left, is that person still perfect, or is the mistake perfect? Since when did I imply that efficiency is the only way to play the game? What I'm implying is that it is the most EFFECTIVE way to play the game. There is a difference. As far as ignorance goes, you were the one with the "too much grinding" opinion on the Exclusive Content thread. Again, you can be efficient, but you don't need to grind out your gameplay. Personally, my play time maxes out at about an hour or two each day, more if it's in the holidays. Way less than the average RSer. This is why I CHOOSE to play efficient, and get the most out of my gameplay. But what's to say I don't enjoy it? RS is a great game for me, thank you very much. How much for 20 million gold?? lol im just kidding man..... unless you have a nice price... nah jk.. (but do you?) :)

Part of the reason, I think, the community has become the way it is, is because it has grown very large. Everybody is attempting to stand out in their own way, some make fools of themselves in the process, be it coming across as arrogant jerks, assclowns, know-it-alls, or "cool people". All of these people are trying too hard. How do we fix this? Silverion should have sold tip.it/runescape to me years ago, solving this problem. First, I would enforce a dictatorship where 50% of everybodies post count would be moved to my account, discouraging people from spamming for post count. Second, the word "troll" wouldd be banned, since nobody can handle the word responsibly anyway. Third, all references from 4chan would make your rank magically become "idiot". And whatever you wrote, would be re-written upon submission to say "Hi, I have no imagination, so I feed off of others cleverness in an attempt to sound, witty, intelligent, and funny in this forum". Fourth, the boards would close fridays from 16:00 hours to sundays at 12:00 noon, MY TIME!! Because I am the only admin/moderator and I don't like to be here in weekends. All other solutions are just unrealistic.
