Do you mean on the GE or the street price? The current street price seems to range from 175-200M. The GE price is somewhere around 45M I think. Yes, the GE price will continue rising until either the GE price catches up with the street price and it stabalizes, or until the inevitable dump when the street price will plummet but the GE price will likely stay the same, or maybe fall, depending on how complete the dump is. If you meant by street price; the street price of easter eggs has been stable near 200M for a month or two already. It took a small dive recently (I saw some sold for 150M) but they seem to be back up to approaching 200M. It hurts me talking about eggs...I had 2 and an offer in for 10 more when they were stable at 16M but I opted to sell them and flip yews instead because I thought I would make more money. Yea...that ended up well.

15-Dec-2009 Blood Runs Deep
Sure, they will rise in the short term, but I honestly see them coming back to this price because people will start killing Tzaars alot more. Has anyone killed Jad since this update? It would be nice to know what the new number of tokkul is.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Saylor Twift? Sailor? Sailing? OT: I doubt FT3 will be this week. Most people are saying Slug Menace. I also have thought for a while that they will want to end off this year will a bang and FT3 seems like it would do it better then slug menace. Also, many people think that FT3 will come out with bloom lighting and having Christmas + FT3 + Bloom in 1 week seems like to much. Then again, the pic in the development blog did look like it had bloom....

Profit From Summoning
I don't know of how you could make 900k/hour, but I know that maccaws are decent. With herb prices so high the profit would be pretty nice. Just summon a maccaw while you alch or something, then use the scroll when you can and you get herbs. When I was p2p I tried this out and made like 50k in nearly no time. Not enough tests to put together a nice estimate, but it is nice bonus gp when alching. Using beast of burden to hold things when you are gathering resources is also nice.

99 Firemaking help, budget, time and places.
The basic logs (normal, oak, willow, maple, yew) go up by 1.5x exp each. So maples will be 1.5 times faster then willows so you will save ~30 hours by burning maples rather then willows. You currently need ~94k maple logs to get 99. At an average price of 30 gp per log thats ~2.8M. So no, you don't have to sell anything in order to get 99. Until 90, I burned mostly in Edgeville, it was empty well over 90% of the time and averaged ~1000 logs per hour (with talking to friends). Then from 90-99 I used Varrok teleport, run into the middle of the fountain and just burn west to the bank. There I could average ~1300 logs per hour with talking. TAKE LOTS OF BREAKS! You said that you could get it within a week, that averages to like 9 hours per day. No one should be playing that much, that many days in a row. I know I am out of line saying this but that is very unhealthy to stare at a computer screen for 9 hours a day (and you have to be looking the whole time because it is so click intensive).

Armadyl forgotten?
Sorry mate, but could you please put that through some sort of spell checker? It really hurts my eyes when there are no capitals, spaces, etc. I am not a member so i am not huge into the history of Runescape, but from what I gather, Armadyl is dormant and not coming back any time soon. Right now, Jagex is working on developing quests that fill in alot of the blanks in the history of Gielinor that relates to the present and future and I don't see Armadyl posing any significant roll in it. Like what 'Hate Me Libs' said, Armadyl is more or less gone and never going to come back.

Tip.it Times 13 December 2009
First Article Well written and easy to read like Racheya's articles always are. I actually prefer this new form. It rewards players that look around to fansites and the RSOF, and also the players that are intelligent to break difficult codes. They still give us plenty of warning when updates are coming, but now it seems that they are saying more then just "New slayer master this week". This type of cryptic clue formats is what makes Jagex's new approach at the game so interesting. Second Article I play mostly for the community. I have a great group of people that I talk to regularily and would genuinly miss them if I quit (I miss N8myton!!!!!!). Also, as a player moderator, I have a significant roll in the community. I regularily just sit at the GE and have unofficial Q&A's with players. I enjoy it. Also, the challenge of finding new and intersting ways to raise my skills keeps me hooked when the community is acting more nooby then usual. Plus, I love my cash pile  Did You Know Actually a DYK that I never knew before. That is quite handy actually for skills that involve alot of banking.

So, how big do people this the crash will be? 2 days of 1.5M falls then 1 fall of 750k and then a rebound is my guess. Also, looking at the RSOF yesterday, there seemed to be alot of people trading away eggs. I am not sure if this is impending doom or just people coincidently wanting to upgrade to phats all at once. Most offers I saw that were cash were around 175M so it looks to me like eggs are dying down a little bit.

Smithing
Superheating gold costs far too much to be economicly viable. As for me, I got 70 smithing with iron platebodies. then to 80 with superheating addy ore (broke even). And then 85 with mith plates. The price of smithing has skyrocketed lately though so I don't know how much all of these will cost.

Construction, I'm not doing it right.
And just another peice of information: normal planks are the only ones that you need nails for. All the rest just need the planks (and tools of course).

oh please... I bailed out of santa's about a week or so ago and they haven't really went anywhere. I don't see them going nuts at Christmas like everyone thinks they will. Everybody expects them to go up, so they go up before Christmas, crash during Christmas, and will stabalize after Christmas. Demand is too high before Christmas, Supply too high during Christmas, and it evens out a bit after Christmas. What I take out of Lowc15's post is that santas are at that 'threshhold price' where it is very unlikely that it will increase greatly. Santas are at a price where natural demand is starting to drop off alot. So when they start to rise people immediatly sell them because they own them for the sake of merchanting and don't want to be left out after the dump. So essentially they will stabalize just like they are doing now. The other side of this 'going nuts' is that that when the dump comes there is enough GP in the hands of noob merchants who will see a price fall and immediatly start buying. This buying will absorb the crash before it amounts to anything significant and the price will go back up to ~35M.

Chessy has over 1k santa hats that she has been stocking up for years. Even though technicly she could crash the market, it is VERY unlikely that she will. She uses these more or less as a way to hold here net worth in a non-GP form that is guarenteed to rise in the long run. Even IF she wanted to crash the market, she couldn't do it very well because it only takes 65 santa hats to hit max GP. She would have to invest all that GP into some sort of other item and that would take a long time.

A Christmas Warble - 11-Dec-2009
Hasn't it always been like that? :???: Yeah, well, at least since they realized that hoarders were making million off of disc. items. I think that he put that in there to make sure all of the newbs knew that it wouldn't be tradable or some kind of super weapon.

A Christmas Warble - 11-Dec-2009
When do people think the event will be released? Christmas is on a Friday this year. So they could either release it Thursday or Friday the week before (17th/18th) or wait until Monday (21st). Monday seems to late but how often do we get Friday updates? I'm leaning towards the 17th.

Quite well written article. It looks quite promising, and so does this freash meat in the Jagex team. Just judging by his style of writing I think he'll be a good adition to the team.

Ferocious Ring drop rate
I'm not a member so I'm not entirely sure, but I keep hearing of people getting 2-3 per task. So, no, they aren't rare. Maybe 1/100 is my guess.

It's been a while since we got an update on all rare prices. Could someone make a fancy list of them again? All I can really tell is that santas seem to be stabalizing. What do people think? Is this the highest they'll go before the inevitable Christmas crash? Will there even be a Christmas crash with all the GP floating in the game to suck it up? What is the meaning of life? PS-> This has been a shameless bump used to see what my new siggy looks like. But seriously I wanna know.

What has changed since 2006?
Mark Michael Gerhard is the current CEO of Jagex. His major goals seem to be more openness with players, and improving F2P. Most things i can think of have been said already but I advise you to go to the tipit home page and click on all of the Guides. Just go to skill guides then start with attack and work your way through the list. Just scroll through until you see something new, read it over, and keep going. There have been A LOT of updates that no one really remembers but affected the game so reading those general guides will give you all the info you need. Or you could just go to the update forums we have here http://forum.tip.it/forum/27-runescape-news/ and that will give you a list of updates. Just read the headlines and if something catches your eye, read the topic.

POLL: How much of an interest do you have in the RuneScape economy?
Having Jagex set the pricecs would create an even worse situation. Instead of bought out items going up over time and the GE price and the street price meeting at an equilibrium, they would stay bought out forever and whomever owned the majority of the items could charge you whatever they wanted.

POLL: How much of an interest do you have in the RuneScape economy?
- 3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Not really. The only way to really get in or out of those bought out rares other then using junk or getting other rares. So the only choices you have are pretty much, sell it for GP, get junk and sell it for GP, or trade it up with GP for a purple. I would be more then willing to purchase the egg if you choose the first option  Hmm..I am not sure about the partyhat market right now, but you might be able to use the egg to upgrade a purple to green. Doubt it though. EDIT-> Looking at your picture that you posted when you returned, You shouldn't have too much problem upgrading, but I know you want the GP so I really don't know.- 3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Alot of people choose to dump right after a GE update. That way, when unsuspecting noobs look at the GE graphs they see that D Bones are up 160 GP so they go and try to buy a bunch to hop on the bandwagon. That helps the dumpers sell more. And as for your first question: Don't expect D bones to fall too far this dump. Most people think 1-2 falls then the demand from the update will push them back up. Then after a few days of rising I suspect there will be another major dump because there is no way all of the D bones that hoarders had locked up in their banks are all dumped. I'm thinking there will be a few fluctuations before D bones settle down. To sum it up -> if you are planning to buy D bones any time soon I suggest that you buy them in 1-2 days because they will be doing alot of up-down in the future as hoarders slowly offload their stock. This is just me making a judgment call based on other people's posts. I take no responsability if this information is wrong. OK, I take some, but there is nothing you can really do about it.- What Custom Rank Do You Want on Tip.It Forum Boards?
I Trade Things Why? Just look at my name noobs! Plus, I am a merchant so it fits...- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Yes please! Then we can finially get iron ore back to a half reasonable price. I mean, after being stable at 100 gp each for YEARS, 1 clan hits it and not everyone is either clan manipulating it or just hoarding it in mass amounts.- Prodigal Son Returns
What's funny is, now it's the exact opposite; we now have merchanters who drive price crazy high. Which do we prefer? It is not merchanters that make high prices. When someone buys out an item, they must dump them eventually. Theoretically, this price after the dump should be the same as the price before the manipulation. What causes the price to rise like the inflation we see is that with so much money entering the game. Manipulators drive the prices up, but with so much money sitting in their banks, players don't mind paying this elevated price. So while it is that manipulators that drive the price up, it is the inflation that keeps it up. What makes Runescape such an alluring game is the fact that it is simple. There is no really complicated mechanics that take a long time to master that would drive many newcomers away. Runescape is a simplistic, easy to access, low requirement MMO. This low hardware and software requirement makes Runescape a wonderfull 'intro to online gaming' for newcomers to the genre. A large part of what keeps people here is that you don't have to play all the time. If you are paying $15 a month for WoW, I would have a hard time not playing for weeks at a time just knowing my money is being wasted. With Runescape, the F2P game is large enough to keep you happy for long times, and even if you get members, that $5 a month isn't that much that you feel a cumpulsion to play based on 'wasted money' - 3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
