Only some wireless modems / routers can actually work with XBL.

If you do, you can get a gaming adapter from linksys, dlink, netgear.. etc for a bit cheaper. here is an example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6873999102 There are other ones on the market too, I know back when I had my first xbox I got an adapter for around $50 USD. Also, you could get some long ethernet cable from some online retailers for cheap and just run a cable through the walls. 136 Combat, 2290+ Skill Total

It's just as good as CoD4 was when I played it on the 360 at my friends house. The controls are kind of awkward with the Wiimote/Nunchuck, so tomorrow I'm going to Gamestop to buy the Wii Zapper, I think it's only $20 and from my one experience of testing it at a Gamestop in RE4, and it was well worth it. I would have bought it but I didn't have any supported games at the time.

November 16, 200817 yr All right, I've played single player for a bit and I'm going to give my impressions. Overall it's very well done, the action is fast paced and addicting. It's very cinematic, and the cutscenes are very unique. On the bad side, I get major déjà vu playing this. It seriously feels like someone took all of the previous CODs and threw them in a blender. The pacific missions are the more enjoyable for me, since it's actually a fairly new landscape, with sun, beaches, different enemies, and a different WWII style game than normal. It's freaky, one minute you'll just be walking along doing nothing, the next you'll be blinded by a light and when you can finally see, there would be some Japanese dude with a sword in hand running at you screaming "BANZAI!". It's overall very fun to play through. On the other hand the Russian missions were a snore. It's the same thing as every other generic WWII game; crumbling buildings, everything's grey, the German's are still cold, ruthless bastards without any sort of humanity. Even though they did try to spice it up a bit it's still pretty boring for me. Oh yeah, and the flamethrower in campaign is [bleep]ing awesome.

I stopped while playing CoD4 at the sniper-level with a wounded soldier that you have to protect, but Im sure that I will play this one to the fullest. My brother has unlocked the Nazi Zombie minigame. Essentially, you are in a room with windows boarded up. The zombies can break in, you earn points for rebuilding the barricades as well as killing the zombies. The more points you earn, the better the guns you can buy from the wall. It makes for a fun solo experience as well as working with a larger team.

November 18, 200817 yr I was playing Zombie Nazi mode yesterday with some buddies of mine, we rocked. Well only level 13 but it was insanely fun. :P What you want to do is get three men in the main room, and one in the hell room. After a round you just fix the barricades and go to the random box to hopefully get a big clipped machine gun, flamethrower, or ray gun. The ray gun is a one shot kill, and you will eventually get one from the random box, it doesn't matter if one person already got one.

Some great action, and some awesome set pieces. Also, Running into enemy lines with an MG42. It blows limbs off. Also love that online too. Powerful weapons and explosives (tanks/artillery /grenades etc) blow people's limbs off. I'm amazed that the level of detail in the gore is allowed in a game rated 15. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for that, but they are usually such nazis at the ESPRB/BBFC. November 19, 200817 yr just got it and finished the campaign yesterday. it think its a great game and the story mode was a lot more realistic and more difficult then cod4. haven't tired online yet, had to do a system update and hopefully its done now...

I could've sworn they had patched that, and if they haven't they will have the patch released very soon, as they had the roundhouse glitch fixed on the beta. I'd rather spend 8 hours ranking up on multi-player to my enjoyment as opposed to spending 8 hours labouring on story mode to my dislike. Played Zombie Nazi's today... Got to level 34 with 3 of us... It was sweet once we all got ray guns and flame throwers.
