Kirschen
had a day off. PSN hasn't worked all day. FML It's annoying when that once you have time to yourself, things don't have time for you and just break. It just ends up making the "day off" feel like more work trying to find a way to relax.
Range_This11
I didn't get to drink last weekend because of so much homework, so tonight I'm going to my friends' CEOs and Office [garden tools] party. It should be amazing. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder." obfuscator
I wonder when I learned to talk to people... I don't enjoy talking to people I don't know. It's a lot more effort than normal, but at some point in the last few years I apparently figured out how to not be awkward about it. I rarely meet new people of my own volition though, so I don't have to use the skill that much. Never been much of a people person anyway. I legitimately prefer my own company, though oddly enough, if I were cloned and that clone had my personality, I sometimes think I would find me insufferable in the flesh. Not that I think I am annoying to be around, but someone who knows all my tics and stuff, it would be weird. I guess I'd either get along with myself really well, or I'd hate me. Ah well, I get along with the voice in my head just fine :D Got Crysis 2. Now I am downloading the Direct X 11 mode, and the enhanced textures, which comes out to 2 freaking GB. So now that I have fufilled my quota for making other people think I'm really weird for the day (this post), I guess I'll go make something to eat, because I'm fairly sure I slept through supper last night, and now I'm kinda hungry. Anyone ever been hungry to the point where they feel kinda sick (normally for like 5 minutes then it goes away for an hour)? I feel like its kinda counter productive, since I normally end up laying down till it blows over, and its really hard to eat anything when your stomach is all making a fuss. Like, stop complaining for 5 minutes so I can feed you ffs. And yes, I don't normally eat till I get hungry, and no, I don't normally wait until I feel sick to get off my ass and make supper (and that's make as in real cooking, not some bull shit microwave meal). I used to be really awkward conversationally, I kind of improved by learning to be "open to conversation". I rarely start conversations, but if someone talks to me, things generally go pretty well. Tim
So, I've planned this: My next pay I'll get roughly $2,300, 1800 of which is used for the car's rego, payoff and fine. Afterwards, I save up to pay Xmas crap for the family, and also buy a few games I havent been able to afford, not in one hit mind you (Skyrim, BF3 and Saints 3, for both PC and PS3)Then I save up to do up my car over January and early Feb, so Sound System, appearance, etc. Then Save the rest for when I start University in March, assuming I'm able to get in (which Im really hoping to do so) So I've planned in concrete exactly what to do over the next few weeks, as well as taking up Meditation, Surfing Lessons+Exercise, and have my friends help re-connect to my old-self and rebuild my social skills. Now it's a case of having the focus to do it all, hoping my friends dont backstab me, and keeping away from my family as much as possible to avoid conflicts etc which would otherwise demoralize me. you dont get a tl;dr version this time. Dax
I think I have a job now. Pays $14 an hour, which is quite good for my age and such in Australia. Picking fruit all day, it'll be hard, but I hope it'll be worth it. I start tomorrow if I actually have it. Very badly organised, but eh. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod

I'm glad I was such a perceptive kid on these types of things :) The best alternative to highlighting is to underline whatever it is you want to emphasize and write a note to yourself in the margin next to it. A point the article didn't make was to not share your grades with people. It may sound dumb, but when you save lots of time, hassle and unwanted competition when you just keep it to yourself. I see people spend more time calculating their current weighted average than studying for a test (ok I'm exaggerating but still).

Sbrideau
$14/h is pretty high for that kind of job, even in my region of Canada. That's what I was getting paid as a programmer (although I had just got out of college). Looking forward to being able to move other provinces like Quebec or the prairies or something.
