Someone at school keeps changing my desktop....

Today it was changed to gay porn :|

The hilarity of that is self-evident, but I digress. Do you know the culprits are gaining access to your desktop?

It's a school desktop so i really can't be bothered.

If i was allowed to password protect it i would because in all honesty having to change my desktop every morning is getting a bit annoying :|

What do you keep changing it to?

There seems to be a misunderstanding. In general, I am actually quite fond of the rain, and if its warm enough I have no objections whatsoever. I only gripe about it when its less than 10 degrees and super windy, because while I might not object to being wet, I do object to freezing.

Also, Obfuscator is correct, I am in the Maritimes.

And problem solved. The appointment is tomorrow, so if I had gone I would have shown up 23 hours early (yeah, I remembered the time wrong too). And this is why I have a calender.

This does remind me that I need to get a replacement rain jacked, since my waterproof one has a nice rip and hence is less than waterproof now. My backup coat for warmer weather when I don't want to feel like I'm wearing a furnace would be pushing my luck just a bit on two 15 minute trips if it doesn't have time to dry. I also need to liberate my gigantic umbrella from my parents.

At least it wasn't 3/4" of freezing rain then rain on top of that like in northern N-B. Roads were slippery as hell because of that today, much more than just freezing rain. I can't understand why they don't close college when everything else is closed including stores.

If the funding system works the same way as ontario high schools, the college receives a certain amount of allotted funding per student per day the college is open. So they don't get any government money if they close the school (even if little or no students are actually there).

That's the way it works here. I don't know if it's the same there, but if it is that's certainly an explanation.

It could be, but they closed the schools 3 times so far this year, but college never closed this year. The college is government run though, so there's a chance it might work like that. We still have to pay for the tuition and stuff though.

I keep changing it to aviation related shit. Most recently it was this:

Don't see why anyone would want to replace a picture of such a gorgeous machine with 2 guys having buttsex :|

Make your desktop be a message to the people changing it. I'll not suggest wording so as not to stress the thin ice I am on

Today I lifted again. Pendlay rows, deadlifts, twists, and pullups. I can almost do a full front lever.

Today I also realized that the word "shit" is no longer censored by tif. Good decision IMO, but why? The world may never know.

I know exactly who it is. But they stay an hour or two after school and i really can't be bothered babysitting my desktop till then to make sure they don't change it.

What really worries me is what mental scars they must have after searching gay porn to find a suitable desktop :\

Nah, they find it just hilarious.

On another topic, did 90 push-ups within 6 minutes and hence got my total for last night (it's been 25th for 3 minutes now) up to a hefty 250 pushups. Can say I am proud of it, but I am afraid of waking up in the morning, since my chest-muscles hurt like a [bleep] already.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

The tuition you pay only makes up a very small percentage of the actual cost to teach you. For example, at the college I went to, I paid about $2k per semester, and the government subsidy for me was $10k per semester.

My friend let me borrow all 4 of his Daftpunk CD's yesterday. Rest of the day now is going to be spent listening to it

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

$250/week is pretty sweet for only being on the clock 13.5 hours. I make $11 so whatever hour I spend on the clock just x10 to get my week pay. Makes things easy. ~$350/week is nice too, but my lack of social time blows

I might buy some good quality Bourbon tomorrow for Racis Australia Day and sip away on that in the Spa. Probably going to rain anyway, and all I want is just a quiet day to try and forget everything that's been happening.

I've not drunk in a bit to lower my tolerance for the dozen ciders I have for Australia Day tomorrow. For now though, arguing with people on facebook on why we should oppose the racism typically generated on it.

I'm intrigued - do elaborate. Does this racism entail hatred towards all non-indigineous races, or is it the signature 'X-race is stealing our jobs!' crap?

On a side note, I've been disputing with people all day - it's a weird feeling.

Got my root canal done and aside from a bit of pain with the injections, it's been fine so far. There may be pain soon though once the numbing wears off.

Also my boyfriend bought a car today for £1500, it's a Vauxhall Astra. Not a great car, but it'll get him to work well enough. Just trying to sort insurance out atm, current cheapest seems to be £800. Salford is a high risk area :P Can't wait till he gets the car though :)

Chilling out for the next few days now till I go back home on Saturday to see my parents and grandma. I'm not letting my grandma know I got root canal done, she'd go mental at me.

Made my appointment, though now my arm is sore from the IV. I think the next one is going back in the arm where I normally get them, not in the hand. At least my arm and hand are mobile again (it was protesting a goodly bit for the first 20 minutes once I got out).

Going skating tomorrow, which will be nice because right now I am bored out of my mind. I also need to remember to pick up a bottle of wine so I'm not showing up to dinner later this week empty handed.

And I didn't even know they still made Vauxhall's. The only one I ever saw was an antique.
