Heading out to grab a beer later with a new friend of mine. We started up the "Halo Council" website together and it's flourishing. Excited! Next step is to transition to InvisionBoard and incorporate Wordpress to make room for an Editorial Panel! Word.

So I have my first ever job interview on Friday, and I have to create a resume for it, how do people write convincing ones? I gave up after 3 hours.

about 300GB was Steam games, 130GB Videos, 30GB my sisters crap from when I fixed hers, music etc

Funny enough I actually barely have any porn on my computer to begin with. (ever since my last HDD died)

Also Im starting to freak out, I might have pustular psoriasis on my fingers due to the psoriasis on my scalp, and it's scary. My body can go into a shut down with ease if I got so much as a simple infection.....

I've had psoriasis ever since I could remember. It isn't the worst thing in the world.

I'm tired of being told to "know rulings" when I play yugioh.

I swear, everyone that plays is [bleep]ing retarded now. If I can negate a special summon, and you special summon, I"M GONNA NEGATE IT. There is no "special special summon". and when you special summon during the battle phase - I GET A REPLAY. And you're telling me to read the rules? Sheesh. Card rules transcend the book, that's actually a rule in the book. So stfu.

God damn you lucky Canadians, no such things as snow days here. Ever. School is ALWAYS on. Legacy of Soviet times, school was number 1 and like Lenin said, "To learn, to learn, to learn." <- Rough translation by me.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

We get foots of snow on some rare days and in my 11 years of school there hasn't been a single occurrence of a snow day. We do have "cold holidays" though. When temp outside is less than -20 for grades 1-6 and less than -25 for grades 7-9. No cold holidays for high school though.

EDIT: Degrees are in Celsius, of course.

Why can't the Big Bang be done by the hand of God?

It could have, but it is next to impossible because it also could have been caused by the flying spaghetti monster, or one of the other infinite number of deity possibilities.

You must live at one of the warmer places in Canada. We'd often get cold days if it was the case here.

Anyway, we often get 30cm snowstorms and college never closes, even when stores are closed because of snow.

That is why I don't enjoy playing the game (yet I still collect the cards from time to time because I like the artwork). My number one annoyance was that one-third of the time spent in a duel was in debates over interpretations of card effects, which were badly worded to begin with when the card game came out, and I heard it was even more confusing now that they reworded a few things again. People tend to go on how Magic is more complex than Yu-Gi-Oh, but at least Magic looks like they did their job on being articulate when it comes to the text compared to seeing all varieties of rage in games involving the former.

I never got to be in a tournament myself, but I don't want to leave feeling like I was on the High School debate team.

Yeah, the rulings are a bit ridiculous sometimes.

Going to use Monster Reborn vs Thunder King as an example of your situation though.

For Thunder King to negate Monster Reborn, it has to negate the spell, not the special summon itself. Even though Thunder King says it can negate special summons, it's trying to negate something that already successfully resolved. Very confusing, but some logic IS there.

Yeah, that one can be worked out, but when I use Laval Laggio to negate a spec summon of Gorz and he says I can't that's friggin frustrating. Especially after I decided to just go by his word so he'd shut up, I reborned his Blue eyes and killed it next turn regardless. Then he quit saying he didn't have time to exlpain the rules to a noob. I've been playing yugioh longer than some of the players have been alive rofl.

Also LOL @Rob

Yeah Gorz has a really obscure ruling that I never remember either. It has to be negated it has to have a speed spell of 3 (counter trap) and be able to negate effects, with the only commonly played card being Solemn Warning (Divine Wrath, Debunk, and War Chariot work too). Such a pain. But the card is a necessity with the current meta.

That's one hell of an upgrade. You just went from the relative dark ages to pretty much top of the line

I want a 2GB card :( (I have a 1 gig).

What happened to LOTPW?!

The search function is your friend

And now I go to bed because its late and I'm tired. Those seem like good reasons. And since when did we have a bunch of yu-gi-oh fans here?

I love the naivete of those with the audacity to claim its 'because of the games [one] plays online'. I call them the technologically disadvantaged. It exists among all cultures, starting from the ages of approx 35+.

EDIT - I agree with Jeff down there. The chances are, she was the cause.
