For the maze, I click the ground and then the door, to make sure I don't walk 2 squares to the door. Little things like that. He does need cash still for buyables. I've seen the techniques Jebrim mentioned utilized in kiting slayer creatures to pick up charms, but the guy who made the video started talking about it then skipped onto the next topic quicky.I remember at the Wildy course, when you come out of the tunnel, if two people come out at the same time, if you click next to the rope swing then click on the rope swing you will always go over the rope swing before someone who just clicks on the rope swing straight away. Jebrim Posted December 24, 2011 Share Posted December 24, 2011 That's because some obstacles are programmed to make you walk towards them, hence why you run to it and then click on it. Every obstacle in the game, unless copied and pasted from elsewhere, has its own programming that is often times different from other obstacles. Sometimes it's better to click next to it first, and sometimes it's better for the opposite. You need to know the situation you're in first, so typically it isn't something that can be done on a first time occasion. I also haven't seen the vid you're referring to. It's simply a strategy I used when I solo'd dg to get closer to doors and such. I solo'd almost all of my dg btw and if I ever return to it, I'll continue to do so. Another dg strategy I've used is with the lever room, by efficiently doing all the levers in the fewest ticks possible. And another I used was for the room where you repair the crystal things and mess with the pressure pads to get the lights lined up. If I ever needed to adjust something quickly by 1, I would stand 2 squares (or any even #) away and just run over it. It is always safe to run over it if you're an odd number away. For the Nightgazer boss, I made sure I was an even number of squares away from my torch thingy, to be able to run back and forth without wasting an extra tick. I haven't really done any of the new dg stuff, so idk what other potential things there are to take advantage of. Yes, Jebrim's post about microefficiency was indeed interesting, and I'm honestly amazed that someone knows that much about the game and has the patience to actually do that. I just meant the most of the last few days' posts have been quite useless and off-topic if not straight flaming. But on-topic - I still don't think that microefficiency is what's required for 200m in all skills, it's determination. And like many others I believe that Suomi will be the first to 200m everything. To be honest, there's no way anyone can beat him with his ~500m lead unless he stops playing, which I find quite unlikely. But as Jebrim said, microefficiency still has its own niche - those little things certainly add up in all-or-nothing situations, such as PvP, and RuneTracker records are of course an achievement too. I don't have patience or motivation to do everything pixel-perfectly, but I guess some do, and I have respect for people who spend months or years perfecting small details. Bought like 200K Uncut diamonds 7,5K each before Jagex banned bots so made like 2B there. I don't really flip, I prefer investments. Don't have to go to the G.E so often.
