The_Fray
I doubt Virtus drops too much, basically we have a degraded form of it, which seems to be quite expensive. JeRambo
It takes flakes to make and recharge the armour. Spores are for the staff. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. ItsCook
Wow it cost's the same amount of flakes to recharge. But getting flakes as drops [well 7,000 of them] takes forever! enfield
hm but with virtus you do get like 40% more out of your brews. At least the virtus robe bottom/mask are probably still better than the ganodermic mask/visor at corp. And given the repair cost of the poncho, virtus might make more sense there too. Quyneax
The main virtue of Virtus is that corp focuses based on damage taken. You can heal enough with deflect mage/soul split flashing, but when corp attacks you you have to pray melee, so you take more magic damage. But if you have virtus you have a large health buffer - you can afford to lose 700+ lp before safing, and by that time someone else usually tanks. Ganodermic on the other hand would simply make corp hit a lot lower, also reducing the safe limit, but not as much as Virtus of course. @ Above: soak and the spirit shield damage reduction are two totally different things. I'm not sure in what order they are applied, but it's impossible for them to stack additively. chenw
Well, from the looks of it, it seems that while Poncho, statwise, is superior to that of a Virtus chest, the other pieces are not, so basically, replacing the whole virtus set with Ganodermic set would be less effective than virtus. But, if you only replace the chest, at the cost of 200 Max LP (~14.3% loss of LP), you gain 28% Magic absorb, which may make it better, at least from mages point of view. 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. Blutters
I lag way too fuggin much for having a decent computer. It looks like I'll be forgetting about this entirely after I've explored the rest of the dungeon. I refuse to lower my graphical settings when it already looks terrible (it's like antialiasing isn't working ONLY in the dungeon... -.-). The bloom effects are nice though. Halo looks much better now. Aaaand... The Ramokee Skinweaver at the bottom is pretty ugly. It's obvious that she's using the human head with headgear on it. I certainly hope they don't make the others look like her. EDITI notice now that, through some inexplicable reason, when I activate bloom lighting, antialiasing is deactivated. Sad.Note that it still says AA x 4 is active when bloom is, AA just isn't present, as shown above. That explains why the new dungeon looked terrible, but not why it was so laggy. The Dark Lord
Because of the lack of AA with the bloom effects, I had to turn bloom off. It sucks. :\ SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.
Mercifull
As nice as bloom is, AA is better. :( Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Blutters
I have found that using OpenGL allows you to have both. As far as I know you only sacrifice the new water, and certain textures will be slightly different.I also stop lagging after I've been in one area of the dungeon for a bit, so that's two problems somewhat solved.I made the second set helm but it looks very stupid lol... As far as I'm concerned only the lowest set poncho and legs look good.
Ezkaton
Made ~13m yesterday off the new slay monsters :D I kinda think they should have made them task specific and increase the drop rate/ammount of flakes you get to make up for it, but eh. Also the lag D: I even lag slightly there when I have only Rune open on low settings! >.< Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
