Syd
Has someone got confirmed knowledge about how modifiers work when going for trade goods? First of all, I sent a joint voyage for 6 chi globes earlier today, which was success: Now I'm just puzzled why did I get 7 chi globes instead of 8? I mean I had jade merchant (30% increase) and Fortune of Seas (10% increase) both on board. I even checked to add the FoS before sending the voyage. According to my calculations 6 x 1,3 x 1,1 = 8,58 ~ (rounded down) 8. Not 7. Someone said it's always rounded down before applying each multiplier, but in my opinion that would sound a bit ridiculous. It would explain why I got 7 chi globes though. 6 x 1,3 = 7,8 ~ 7 x 1,1 = 7,7 ~ 7 = 7. If that is really the case, I think it's stupid. In my opinion we should (of course) get the amount of resources/trade goods we have multipliers for. :?

Yeah I was researching it, but I was called it was a practically useless thing to figure out, so I stopped. But yeah, it's rounded down after every multiplication, so you can only get a max of 1 resource extra (and that's from Joint Acquisitions), it's not until The Pincers the formula allows you to get an extra 2. It also means that Fortune of the Sea is practically useless on all trade good missions but Spices. I was researching the order in which they were applied. If there's a way to get 10 trade good per mission from the Pincers (and that should be the case, 8x1.25+=10) and the FotS was applied AFTER, we'd get 11 goods, if FotS is applied BEFORE Merchant, it's just 10. Arcane_Rift
I'm abusing the shit out of adventure re-rolls and it's helping immensely getting the required jade for the 4th ship. Saradomin_Mage
Sent both out at the same time. How does that even work? Edit : Ignore the timers, look at the voyage description. Drazhor
Happens to most of the voyages that I do, send them all out within 30 seconds of each other yet there are 5-15 minute gaps between then.Speed only seems to give a rough minimum voyage time, can vary even if you have the highest speed for the lowest voyage time. Also, 14 hour scroll voyage makes me sad.If I fail it I'm gonna kick myself over it! Visit my blog! Click the madness for more madness!

Saradomin_Mage
^ I was thinking about Thalassus being in two places at the same time, but Cheefoo pointed out that it's a species rather than a single beast. Anyway, Woox16 has reached the Pincers region, and we've found that completing the Convict Storyline gives a 25 plate reward. Sylpheed
That's bizarre. I seriously hope the rewards for the final story voyages aren't randomised otherwise people are going to end up with shit they don't want.
JeRambo
Not sure why they took the same look as the chimera.. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." Unknown_Warrior
The question here is: do multipliers work? Cause if so, hnnng.Let's not forget Jagex also said that finishing a joint adventurer's storyline (eg: convict + assassin) gives even more rewards. So maybe an additional 50? Estoc
Sent both out at the same time. How does that even work? Edit : Ignore the timers, look at the voyage description. The Thallassus obviously has the noble heart of a warrior, and once bested in combat shall become your ally until death takes him. The 4 minute discrepancy is simply the time it takes for him to declare his service to you and your house. That's bizarre.
