Wee.

This skill is incredibly boring! For the most part you do quite little and the xp rate is low. There is also no variety up to now (just got level 35).

Am I the only one who thinks this is way too blatant recycling of old content and ideas? I mean c'mon. Runespan with a deposit box. The hole in the ground where you put these memories is like some unused object from battle of Lumbridge archive. These nodes (energies) you siphon (collect) don't even have different graphics on them even though they're different things. How much time would it have taken to make them even different colour for little change? I admit I only just started but first 20 levels and forward seems same thing just over and over again. With xp slowly balancing with your levels just making each one of them take longer. The idea of new skill was nice but this whole concept how it is put out just lacks creativity and makes it very dull and what seems like pointless update. Atleast considering it was an update that has been hyped for the last year or more. Doesn't quite live up to it.

Sorry to be a downer. And yes I know RuneScape is based on doing repetitive things but atleast you have some things that you can decide yourself. Like the places where to train and have multiple options for what you're going to do. With divination you just do level 1-10 catching stuff in one place and deposit it in a hole. Level 11-20 is same thing again. Nothing is different except the energies you get and the XP. Now I'm training towards 30 and it is the same thing again. Dull!

I think when you have such exciting skills as Woodcutting and Fishing to live up to, Divination is a rollercoaster of a gathering skill in comparison. Some of the random events so far are really, really nice.

Gathering skills have always been boring--the fact that it has a psuedo-production-skill element tacked on to it as well only makes it better. There's a lot of potential for new rewards and interesting things coming out of this, although some of the biggest game-changers are already here.

Really liking this skill so far--the higher level herb Divine Locations seem like they will be the most worth-it ones to spend your cap on. Hoping to get 51 by the end of the day to try those out.

I love the locations they've put the colonies in. Using Dragontooth Island for something is definitely not what I expected :P

So the best xp is to harvest wisp of your level and then click on the 3rd option to convert the memories?

Save the memories for enhanced memories and making the boon of your level though, but other than that - yes.

It's faster to re-click the node when the xp pops up, rather than waiting, but you might want the slightly slower afk way.

Thanks for tip.

Whan I can do with chronicle fragments (orange circles)?

When you get 10 of them, you can deposit them either in Draynor, or at the Guthix shrine (teleport with your 6'th age circuit)

I think you get more xp at the shrine, but don't quote me on that.

You get some lore as well when depositing them - like small Guthix quotes.
