I think people need to read dev blogs more; the picture clan wars things are not a major clanwars update. It's just the new ranked clan arena they are adding to allow clans to fight with pre-set rules to gain ranking in the clan hiscores.

I am actually surprised how nice the cape looks. Expected something like the team capes.

I wonder how extensive the color-choices for those capes will be.

When will the rest of RuneScape be covered in the lush, beautiful, new trees?

Mod Mark: As soon as we can! Replacing every tree in the game is a mammoth job, but doesnt actually give us any new gameplay or features, so were not going to set the whole team on it.

 

So I doubt it's going to happen this week, but I'm not ruling it out.

I'm guessing as and where possible new updates (that alter game areas) will bring new trees to the area; while on none map changing weeks a few trees will maybe get changed in other locations.

 

Also this area prob has new trees cause:

a) Holiday event area is kinda new and blates not gonna build new areas with the old trees

b) Holiday events always have the/an entrance south of fally aka right where the new trees are.

 

First teaser pic suggests evil trees are getting make over though, or perhaps its meant to suggest something a bit larger? Like all the trees with links to the gnomes. I hope the Grand Tree gets updated in-line with the new tree graphics and all the other gnome buildings; even if they aren't "trees" as such.

My point is that it makes sense to update an area that a lot of players are guaranteed to visit as opposed to updating some trees in the Enchanted Valley where almost nobody ever goes.
