  1. Actually yes, I think this is what he's looking for. Totally did not understand the question.
  2. To make a hiscore list in the way you mentioned, you will be using quite a few coding languages. Firstly you'll have to know HTML (to code the website), PHP (to code the stat-getting ability from the hiscores), and Javascript (to sort the table). This isn't really an easy thing to do unless you are quite experienced and willing to learn. There are a few easier methods to get data from the hiscores, such as http://forum.tip.it/topic/186593-svens-guide-to-rs-high-scores-tracking-with-google-docs/ .
  3. I also support this change, pictures/video/sounds only. Even if I don't post something in there myself, I usually go there to check out some cool things that people have done.

    Logo

Looks pretty cool. The good thing about good logos is that you can use them in any situation as you can easily changes the colours and it'll still be recognizable (which yours is!)
  5. Seems interesting...why would they open source it, basically inviting people to hide keyloggers in it and put it on their own site.
  6. Not really feeling the idea of an official Tip.It channel, I don't see it getting much use. Perhaps a Tip.It channel which is mainly used by TET, but I'm sure that has been discussed in the past. Maybe, instead of one channel for Tip.It, videos from the community could be showcased every week or month. Perhaps as an addition to the Tip.It Times. We have a new media board on the forums, perhaps a weekly vote gets to decide which videos go into the Tip.It Times? I'm sure this would encourage video editors and creators to post high quality videos. And since Jagex is going more youtube related, showcasing the best RuneScape videos from the week on the site would be pretty awesome.
  7. This has happened to me, I thought an Ubuntu LiveCD would work, but it did not help. What would be easiest is to get another hard drive by buying/borrowing it, install an OS, move all the files over to it. Then wipe your main HD, re-install your OS of choice, and move the files back, and return the hard drive, or keep it as a backup.
  8. Yup, Mozilla have a good detailed guide themselves, read it closely if you're stuck. Pretty straightforward. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/profiles
  9. Re check drivers and Windows update. Either that, or it is some setting that needs to be changed.
  10. There is Glims: http://www.machangout.com/tutorials/general - but it's not really modifying the UI. Of course, Firefox is the best for addons and customizability, but I guess you already know that. You could change your entire OS X theme, but that would change everything, not just safari.
  11. You can try it out yourself instead of asking him to ;) And also, IPB 3.1 plans to have a search overhaul: http://community.invisionpower.com/blog/1174/entry-4573-ipboard-310-dev-update-search-overhaul/
  12. I'd recommend http://themeforest.net/ - never actually sold through them, but been with them since the beginning. Of course, if you are planning to sell, some extra work may be required to get the design approved (help docs etc.)
  13. Looking good, will you be WordPress-ing this? I guess you're planning on selling it?
  14. Yes, you are right, the Tip.It GEC does not popup or something when the GE updates. However, there are other ways to know when the GE has updated, such as IRC. The Tip.It IRC has a 'bot' called RuneScript which will announce when the GE updates, as well as do a lot of other useful things. Also, there is a twitter account which will announce when the GE updates, as well as other news, extremely fast, probably the fastest. So if you're familiar with twitter, follow @RuneScapeRSS, you could download a twitter client, such as Tweetdeck, or if you play RuneScape in Firefox you could get Echofon and whenever the GE updates you will get a notification in the bottom corner of the browser. There may be a similar addon for Chrome. There are some sites that advertise a GE checker that will tell you exactly when the GE updates and claims it to be the fastest, but please be wary of these sites. I have come across a few [Caution: Executable File]'s that nicely hide the fact that they are keyloggers. Perhaps in the future Tip.It may want to include a GE notifier in their Firefox addon/greasemonkey script, it would be quite awesome.
  15. You could always "watch the topic", I believe you can configure it as to when it will send you email updates. As for notifications on the forum for quotes, I'm not sure if it's possible with an addon, but it'd be nice to have I guess.
  16. Tip.It Home world of course... World 99.
  17. What exactly is your processor? (model) You could pick up a 9600gt or 9800gt fairly cheap...less than $80, but there probably would be a bottleneck due to your computer being a bit old. But still, if you get a new computer later on, you can just swap out the video card. There are also some Ati cards that outperform these Nvidia cards (as these are a bit old too), but I haven't really been keeping up with the newer cards. I have similar specs to you, with a 9800gt I bought for $80 and I can play TF2 on quite high settings.
  18. Price does seem unusually high. Best wait until more details are announced concerning venue and events...maybe it will include some membership and a bag full of items.
  19. Should be going. I will be wearing a Tip.It t-shirt of my own design, I hope :)
  20. I'm sure it has been thought of already by the Crew, but Construction was released quite some time ago. I'd like Tip.It to have a House planner, but I guess the Crew developers have other ideas that take higher priority.
  21. Something like this happened to me too quite recently. For a few weeks, every time I played a graphic intensive game, I would get intermittent periods of lag. After that, my graphics card blew up; 3 capacitors had blown. You might want to check if there is any fluffy stuff coming out of the capacitors.
