I lol'd irl.

I also got an effigy that task. Got a clue with rune (g) helm and another with arma page 2 (already sold it). I guess I have a bit of luck left.

Edit: Same task.

Oh no, here we go again with the never-ending chaotic debate.

I don't want to get caught up in this again, but I will state that CLS absolutely owns at Tormented Demons.

I've recieved 2 of my 4 claw drops with it, and wouldn't take a CR to TD's over a CLS anyday.

But you've never used a CR.

That argument is tantamount to saying to saying that without firsthand experience of ANYTHING, one can not render an opinion on it. In the case of somethings, especially where experience or talent is more important then running numbers that may be true, but not in in instances where the data is available to all, where one can from 2nd hand experience, some small amount of research, and a comparison of the numbers etc, one doesn't need to own either a CLS or a CR to state which is superior in certain situations, especially if one already has extensive knowledge OF that situatuion. (EG, which would be better at DKS on task, with maxed melees, etc.)

Explained it perfectly.

I don't see how stonewall's post is relevant here.

If I may get to the sentence to which I was referring to, Stonewall's post states:

"one doesn't need to own either a CLS or a CR to state which is superior in certain situations, especially if one already has extensive knowledge OF that situatuion."

In this case, I happen to have "extensive knowledge" of Tormented Demons, as I've spent plenty of time down there, and I think 2.4k kills is a decent amount for soloing.

As I previously stated, "Tormented Demons are a place where the right compromise between speed and power is crucial." I do not need to own a CR to know that a CLS better fulfills this compromise much better.

Sure, I can't argue that CLS is better everywhere, as I know it's not true. But this is one of the places that the CLS really shines.

[hide=In all seriousness]C'mon, if Woox says the optimal setup at TD's includes a CLS, how can you argue with that? [/hide]

Still going on.

sense when is it an armadyl chainskirt?

and yes, at TDs its entirely personal preference and switching ability.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Didn't have a party because I didn't really see the point; I noticed I was getting an ass load of magic experience with slayer, so once I got 98 I got ~600k exp a day for two days and then got 99. 99 Slayer will also be soon, but I probably won't have a party for that either, they tend to be too much trouble for me.

Even if it's a dumb story, telling it changes other people just the slightest little bit, just as living the story changes me. An infinitesimal change. And that infinitesimal change ripples outward-ever smaller but everlasting. I will get forgotten, but the stories will last. And so we all matter-maybe less than a lot, but always more than none.

Which is just stupid because the Armadyl Chainskirt is clearly a Plateskirt. They have multiple items with the same name, why change now?

Friend asked me to duo tds with him but I had to leave in an hour, so we decided to just go for half an hour or 45 mins and just mess around a bit and kill some tds, one of the last kills of this trips (I had to leave in 5 mins) and we got this, my first claws and his first claws.

Also don't be hatin' on the armour, I just grabbed something for a 30 min trip, my invent was messed up so badly because I just knew I wouldnt need half of it L

ooh eeh ooh ahah, ting tang wallawallabingbang m8
