Anyone know where I can read the new journals? Apparently Jagex forced wikia to take them down with copyright related threats. If only I could punch them through the internet.

What a strange thing to do :S for what it's worth, you can still view the contents of the older journal entries through the page's history. The newer ones don't seem to have been added yet, though.

They probably only removed the newer ones.

What are the monsters exclusive to warped floors? I'm guessing monsters such as necromancers, red dragons, and black demons aren't there anymore and that the piling priority is still more or less the same with shades and mages at the top.

Demons are still there, black dragons replace red dragons, necromancers don't appear but there are lots of Reborn mages/meleers (from Phoenix's lair), which follow you through rooms.

demons are still there, necromancers have been replaced by Undead Mages (they summon two meleeing monsters that die on their own, they take forever to die though, so if it's a guardian door, you're better off killing), I've only done a few warped and haven't seen a dragon yet.

So far, undead mages and Ankous are the only two new additions.

Brutes/guard dogs/etc look different on warped though, as if they're part lava. :P

Reborn mages are the equivalent of necromancers and are a bigger priority because they can spawn warriors no matter where in dungeon you are (and you could have to kill to open an already-opened GD.

There are black dragons now to replace the old colors.

Demons are still around.

Guard dogs, brutes, and animated books have been given a graphical rework and recycled for Warped.

Just bought seeker and scroll of cleaning. Will buy surge box later maybe.

Scroll of cleaning saves vials of water too.

Dialogue 1 with sneakerpeeper

Seeker: "Sneaks and [player], sitting in a tree..."

Player: "Can you stop singing that? It's kind of freaking me out."

Seeker: "That's fine, [player]! Sneaks has bag under its eye, full of songs dedicated to you. 'If you're happy and you know it, snuggle your Sneaks'..."

Player: "Do you take requests, perhaps? How about something that doesn't involve my name or yours?"

Seeker: "Sneaks can do that. 'Millions of people go by, but they all disappear from view. I only have eyes for you.'"

Player: "Don't make me visit a slayer master to get some earmuffs, Sneaks."

there are 2 more dialogues if anyone is interested.

Feeding him prompts "Om nom nom nom, more!"

When it's grown there's a convo about him having a hivemind with Lakhrahnaz and Haasghenahk and them making fun of you. Also one about his ball of eyelash hair. =S

Anyone else think the mercenary leader battle room is HELLA overpowered? =\

I'd like to see an entire 5-man team no-death the room, tbh.

Just run it, attack him with mage pray till he calls range/melee warriors, tele out and do something else, repeat when his warriors are gone.

It was changed Bruno. Now if your near door, the Mercenary leader will summon help. So harder to rush.

Be careful what you wish for. That cute needs EYE of newt as feeding. And i bet the big eye of your avatar would be tasty meat.

I'm wondering if the primal longsword is better for keying than the primal battle axe.

Anyone had any experience with both?

I'm guessing the baxe is still better thanks to the longsword's "not aggressive" stab, but that might only apply to spears.

If the stab DOES work with zerker, and the monsters are weak to stab/slash combo, then longsword is definitely better.

I've done the room 3 times and haven't seen a death on it yet.

Nope, the longsword only has slash for accurate/aggressive- the stab option is controlled so you can't use it with rings, making it a crap weapon overall.

Then it must be much easier on a team, because on a duo, both me and my partner died like 2 times from that room...

Though that may be because it was the second room we got in the dungeon...

I can definitely see it not scaling well to a duo. With 5 people you can pretty much merc the commander, and if any one person gets piled by too many different styles they can tele without ruining the rest of the team's chances.

It definitely hurts and takes a lot of food, but it's by no means unreasonably difficult as long as you get everyone to rush in a coordinated way, in my experience. It's like a shorter and more painful mono.

Yeah it's like a Monolith, annoying, food-consuming, and prayer-consuming, but it's not TOO bad with a good team. With a bad team though, both are nightmares.

For some reasons though...i really like Mercenary puzzle.

Mercenary is a nightmare in a solo/duo already. =\

But I agree, with a proper team, this shouldn't be too hard.
