Bought Sneakerpeeper pet and it is the greatest purchase of my life. <3 Sneaks.

 

Also got cleansing scroll but haven't tried it out yet.

 

Warped floor are really interesting, but they packed all the really annoying monsters back in. I've seen animated book and pickaxes, demons, brutes, rats and guard dogs (the last 3 got cool warped makeovers).

 

Also a new challenge room: there's a giant summoning obelisk in the middle that's not usable and 4 ramokee exiles that you have to kill. They ripped me apart soloing cause they use the whole combat triangle.

 

I'm loving all the new voices though, fighting Blink is like fighting the joker.

I've run into a few new puzzles. There should be 8 in Total.

Plants: Cut the roots that are the same color as the central flower

Colored Pillars: Grab paint off the walls, paint the pillars, and push them into their respective slots

New Poltergeist: Refill jewelry box, repair pillars, repair jar, repair everything

5 pressure pads: Run around until you teleport to the center. Best way to get all 5 ppl in is to get the GGS to the center.

Grapple with crank: Same thing as a normal grapple puzzle, only you need to spin the reel.

 

I'm not sure if these are considered puzzles since they're just straightforward beat em ups:

Mercenary leader: KIll the mercenary leader, he will summon in a bunch of tier 11 warriors/rangers/mages

If this is the room where you have to go through the portals to get to the center, you can no longer ggs to the center

Instead the trick is to keep going east through the portals

Just go EAST through every potal you are teleported in, you'll get to the center fairly fast

Oh ok, it's all good, you just got my hopes up is all. <_< :razz:

tbh some of the new rewards kinda fail.

 

the zealot thingie is a prayer item with -8 prayer, and it does not work with any good prayers (chivalry/pieity, many curses, every one bought from dunge... ironic)

 

the burry = prayer necklaces dont give much prayer at all. (quick note, the third version is a lot more exspensove then the second version, but the second one has allmost the same bone-coverage. why burrys dragon/frost dragon bones anyway?!)

combine with with bone crsuher, and i can see places like draganoths in chaos tunels (one down every 5 seconds or so, prayer required allways) where it becomes usefull. but then its just moveing the cost of prayer pots to the cost of time by haveing a weaker necklace = less dps.

and any monster weak enough to drop enough bones to keep you prayer running without prayer pots most likely does not need prayer (then again, you could use stat boosting prayers, but that stratching its usefullness)

 

i bet someone will find a good use for these, but i wont.

 

although on the other hand, the scroll of cleansing is epic. a 10% saveing on herb cost (roughly 7% saveing on herlore overall?) + 12.5% chanse of makeing a pot twise as past = awesome.

not to mention its only 20k tokens (not small i guess, but not A LOT!)

 

surge box is alrite. saveing inventory space can be usefull.

Warped floors have a higher density of monsters per room, making them a bit slower than Occults (less than the jump from Abandoned to Occult though).

 

This has pushed up the difficulty counter to a high enough level that Soulgazers are fairly common now.

 

Hexhunter bows should therefore now be much more accessible now, especially if you have 99 slayer and dungeoneer with similarly high-slayer players.

The floors themselves are good, but the new rewards? Meh. =\

So I just watched a video of a team fighting Kal'Ger (5:5 large). WOW he's nuts. The highest hit I saw in the video was slightly over 900, and he uses all three combat styles. My favorite part is that he switches between gigantic versions of various t11 weapons. I think the order was as follows:

Celestial Staff

Primal 2h

Sagittarian Shortbow

Primal maul

 

The team fighting him was utterly destroyed. There was a death every 10 seconds or so, L.

I think the huge hitting attacks are random and meant to take you down to 1 LP, yet it doesn't seem to work that way when he's using his magic (and possibly ranged) attacks as I saw some guy get oneshot from nearly full LP :-X

 

No-food duo gets owned, that's pretty normal I guess. Same goes for the vid Zaaps linked, no food used at all.

I saw a similar video but it was a c6 large where only 2 people faught him and they both only died a couple times. Doesnt seem as hard as you think but definatley soloable like thunderous.

From what i've seen from videos, the last boss isn't at all that hard, you just need to know what to do. From what i've heard, disabling your prayers while he grunts means he will not hit you for max lp-1 damage, and that attack is the major reason why all these people get killed on videos.

Looks like an easy boss tbh, just teleport to the other side so you don't get caught in his melee attacks, you should mage or range this guy I suppose.

I don't think you can, Apparently he has a attack where he hits you really hard if you stay on the opposite side to him for too long.

and he heals like 1/5th hp form this, similar to yk lagors "come closer"

They need to fix the mess with the celestial surgebox and the item binding... I've already lost my T11 arrows, a T9 2h ánd my celestial surgebox because of it. Damn it, not going back to Daemonheim until this get fixed. Which may take weeks or months.

Anyone know where I can read the new journals? Apparently Jagex forced wikia to take them down with copyright related threats. If only I could punch them through the internet.

Can you drop gatestones (and use them) at the other side of the boss room? Normal gatestones also prevent damage taken during teleport, so that's a bonus.
