Effectively, they were placed at T7.5, which would be right between Rune (T7) and Chaotic (T8?), so you could be right. Since chaotic can't be T9 because it'd be too overpowered, this would be a good placement, but still...

Tier 9 defender stats (With T1 being bronze,T2 iron,...,T7 Rune. and T8 either a blank spot (in theory, granite) or dragon, T9 either dragon or barrows (depending on where dragon is placed): +44.536 Stab +43.536 Slash +42.536 Crush -3 Mage -2 Range +7.625 Strength This would be roughly equivalent to a rune kite and rune scim in the shield slot, as far as defense and accuracy go. So unless Jagex decides to unbalance the game even more, don't expect a T9 defender for a long time. Also, if anyone's curious, here are the formulas I used in my calculations. Gl getting more then about 200 tokens per hour in them. Finally got my defender though. Stole a cyclossus to get it. Good thing people don't know how to hold on to their cyclossi. Now I am out of that disgustingly crowded place.

Now I am out of that disgustingly crowded place. ...Which is why I'm glad I gathered tokens beforehand. Tokens were traded in on a 1 = 1 in EACH basis. So my 10k tokens turned into 10k tokens in each game. With the multi bonus thing it will probably last me forever.

However, if you want a small damage bonus, some drops noted, an increased chance of a defender drop and an increased chance of spawning a cyclossus, you will need tokens from all the guild activities. The penguin spies have decided to mix things up and have hence become a little less predictable. They are also scoping out a couple of new areas... ... In terms of penguin points, nothing has changed, but the penguin and polar bear spies now have some weird locations. I knew it was coming, but didn't expect it so soon. December 7, 201015 yr Is dragon defender worth getting? Or should I get a dfs instead?DFS is mainly for boss killing. Rune/dragon defender > DFS everywhere except DKs, Bandos (solo/tank), and Armadyl GWD.
