Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.

I'd like to join dgs, but I need a lot of help learning how to rush effectively... I haven't really done much dging with other people... mostly solo rushing and with close friends. :unsure:

 

I'd also like help on what my binds should be... right now i have about 100 cosmics binded, and a gorg plate with prom 2h... I know that's bad but it was decent for when i solo'ed... any help on what to change would be appreciated.

 

Read the guidelines listed on the first post of this page. There's a whole section on binds, there.

 

The guidelines on the first page don't mention anything about second binds, maybe you should read them. :P

 

In the case of no hood a 3rd bind takes the place of a second bind, maybe you should use some initiative. But is is recommended to bind a plate if you're hood less.

Once again I'd like to remind everyone to not spam or post anything that isn't somewhat related to H&A. Level-up pictures shouldn't be posted unless they're of getting 120.

 

@ Articultural: Grimy deals with everything bind-related in DGS. Fire_Rage does not, and considering that Fire_Rage often posts sub-par advice in H&A and has posted sub-par advice in this thread, we would all prefer that he left the questions alone. At the very least, he should do so as a courtesy to us, as we've spent quite a lot of time answering his endless barrage of questions and trying to help him out with his phobia of online social interaction.

While im sorry that I didn't answer mslkid's problem, it's not reasonable for me to answer every question thrown out on this thread.

I answer my fair share of questions. And honestly it would be bad if I actually did answer every last question thrown out there, instead of giving the opportunity to other DGS ranks.

Mslkid can always ask me through PM. I always answer those 100% of the time.

Or he can ask another competent DGS.

So yes, I do overlook a lot of questions.

I'm sorry if you don't like how I handle things, but this is the logic behind why.

I answer my fair share of questions. And honestly it would be bad if I actually did answer every last question thrown out there, instead of giving the opportunity to other DGS ranks.

Just because I wasn't detailed enough in my reply you are banning me from DGS? This questions how willing you are to let others post advice on DG. You're not the final authority on who's right or wrong anyways.

Why are you trying to make them feel bad for you? They were simply stating that you're incredibly frequent questions were getting out of hand, no need to throw a fit. One of the most annoying things is people trying to make other people feel bad for them.

And you think just because my post seems filled with guilt that I'm trying to make them feel bad for me? I am not. I just don't see how they can just ban me for posting advice that wasn't even bad. Is this for third bind or 2nd? Sorry, can't recall, but if it's 3rd, bind gaunts for now, until you get more optimal levels. If it's 2nd, of course bind a plate if you don't have a hood (I don't think this is what you're talking about but there it is anyway.)

A recent experience of mine with DGS (forewarning, pretty bad language upcoming):

 

 

Here's where I first started making record of these kids. I teleported to a gd about 10 seconds late (literally), and this is what I was met with:

 

A few minutes later, I again teleported to gd (on time this time around), and this was said:

 

A few more minutes later, the key for my personal gate came up. I ggs'ed, and grabbed my key. Before I could even finish my teleport, let alone get to the door, this came up:

 

This was less than 30 seconds after the previous picture. In the meantime, I had unlocked my door, and entered to see what was there and regate - I was killed almost instantly (that's what happens without food, right?) and I got this ration of garbage:

 

Finally, here's how the dungeon ended. Notice that despite a 28 minute large, I was killed FIVE times. The others died more than I did.

 

 

Easily the worst large I have ever done. Best part? Here are their dg levels: 114, 105, 104, and 104.

 

Additionally, DGS was built around the principle of teaching people to dg well. New dgers tend to do things wrong because they're learning, right? Here's what a DGS rank (Tui) has to say about doing things wrong with the clan:

 

If you don't like being yelled at when doing something wrong don't dg with us.

You're free to go to non-rush teams on rsof or w117.

It's easy for you to create a winning argument by just filtering through all of the information down to a few selective screenshots, and basing it ALL on one dungeon.

 

I've DGed plenty of times with USA, and if he's calling you those things you PROBABLY did something to deserve it (like afking or idling)

I don't remember anyone "cursing you out for making astrals." I'm sorry but a 15 second reaction time to gtgd or moving the gt to your gate completely ruins floor times and people who do that are unwanted. I'd understand if it was different techniques that you needed help with but your problem was using the same amount of effort in the dungeon that you would use towards woodcutting Ivy, and that doesn't fly.

Those are the only times I was spoken to - was I supposed to quote calls for doors and keys instead? :rolleyes: I did nothing to deserve the flames - I was being flamed before I even finished crafting cosmics/astrals in the start room.
