I like how the new leather looks as if someone appears good-looking instead of a trashy new player. I cannot wait to see the other half of the graphical updates (not really liking infinity though...)

 

Yeah the infinity top looks quote bad imo, other than that rest looks great so far, really hoping for an improvement to Bandos, and less clipping with skill capes.

 

Oh yeah, the change to Armadyl gear is implying that Bandos may get the same treatment when the second update rolls around to change the other gear. I forgot about that. Although it would suck hunting Graardor (or buying the armor) for awhile and it would be annoying if they don't turn out well.

 

Still thinking of what item I could stuff down my troll's orifice for a nice name.

I'm one who's hoping the different colors of Infinity will look great after this. Very much interested to see what the water version looks like in particular.

 

Lokie, you could go trade with the cave goblins and get some of their special food. Until now it was entirely pointless as it's rare to receive, there was no way to show it off in game, and it heals little.

The troll is going to solve my excess duplicate pet problem. He's going to be baby penguin (wrong colour) followed by raven (because again, I have a duplicate).

 

I'm not enjoying the preview of the three new armours because I have dragon, and I want it to look that nice RIGHT NOW.

 

Also, when I saw the new armadyl all I could think was Watchmen! It reminds me of the owl dude, especially the helmet. That said, the current armadyl armour is uglier than sin, so its still a pretty vast improvement.

 

I really like the new armours, though I was under the impression they were going to only do bronze-dragon + barrows. But the new leather and robes look really nice, so I'm glad they did that. Apparenlty I can't finish the tutorial because I quite frankly refuse to reset my task streak. I figure they'll fix that in a while somehow, and I'll finish it after that.

The female version of armadyl looks really cute, I hope they don't mess that up.

- Talk to a banker in south-west Taverly (Talk, not just click bank)

It seems like that site is way off (it's the KB, I should have expected that.) There are now 484 tasks in total.

Praying at Nardah Shrine gives a task done, but it does not count towards the total amount of tasks..

I can appreciate how the opening cutscene of the tutorial would be more effective at attracting players than its predecessors. Some really lovely animations and voice acting.

When you think about it, the troll is a good way to rid yourself of pets you don't want (quickly) and any items you are too lazy to drop (if it's trade-able). It's a walking garbage can.

Task Master is broken because they haven't actually updated the number of tasks required to use it. I got 428 total Tasks earlier today as I was doing the tutorial, and could use Task Master then (despite having completed no Elite Task sets), but could no longer after I got another Task.

Is the resetting of the slayer streak a glitch or a feature? Not happy about it if it's supposed to reset. I'm mid way through a task so havnt gone past it yet.

The Tutorial was fantastic. The only problem? The highest quality tutorial and introduction for the game that actually felt like a part of RuneScape while still teaching people about the game...is members only.

 

Agreed. It has to be the best or one of the best rs tutorials. Sad it's members only, as it made me feel like a new players exploring somewhere unknown. They really changed Taverley and Burthorpe a lot, so I had to use the world map several times to find stuff.

 

Think they did a great job with the update.

Is there a way to restart the tutorial? Because when I went through the gate north of Falador, I got the popup about the tutorial, but because I was examining stuff I accidentely clicked to not do the tutorial, and now I seem to miss out a whole story and stuff. :s
