Med Lamp ~

Put it on my 114 Dungeoning level and it gave me 17,204 exp.

Not bad at all! :thumbup:

The is the same for every level above 98 (for small and med lamp), which doesn't really make much sense :/

Do regular lamps from random events (Mr. Mourdat, the dragon) aside give 10xlevel in experience above 98? If so, perhaps it's an oversight.

It won't let members spin the wheel on F2P worlds.

 

I have a theory that it is fixed against you, and they purposely made the drop rates higher in F2P as a cash-grab to encourage noobs to spontaneously sub when they win something big.

Same, except lately I've been getting lamps for the skills I don't need! :P (prayer lamp - I have 99, and rc lamp - I have 99) Grrr!

Oh well would be fair if they could atleast store them then still have to become a member to actually use them.

If you have no intention of being a member when what does it matter if you get a rare lucky item? Just discard it. If you might want to be a member in future then just keep it stored until you do. As being being unable to spin until you discard to get members... well. You couldn't spin before Tuesday so what difference does it make?

 

That's an illogical argument to make. Just because you didn't have something before doesn't mean you can't criticize flaws in the system, or things you don't like.

Another roll on my pure yields another medium lamp...I really do think Jagex has rigged the wheel. I

i saw some lucky bandos boots >.>, get the feeling if I ever get an item it will be those.

after ~80 spins best item i have gotten is rune pickaxe on my f2p acc.

 

seems that most common products are small/med lamps and 10k gold...i have gotten ~15x small lamps, 10+ med lamps and 10x 10k gold...rest were some occasional steel, ores, 50gp and other junk not worth taking...

Actually seems legitimate, although he's not really telling us anything we didn't already know.

Yeah Drazhar. That's most likely the case. I just checked the FAQ on RSOF but they don't confirm it there...

 

Oi....Why couldn't he have shown the items kept on death screen? That is all I care about knowing to be honest, to know if they have the same automatic priority as the normal items or not.

A few staking bugs, and this trade bug where players can remove items in the 2nd trade screen, and the other player won't be able to see it happen.

I lol'd at my rare and super-rare items today. The super rare was a dragon chain. The normal rare? A dragon plate. :P

This whole thing looks and feels stupid.

 

The animation although well, uhh, animated, is so just cheesy. The rewards are: garbage, more garbage, Not-even-good-enough-to-be-called-garbage and then a bunch of items that you will never get that also dont make any sense.

And dont even get me started on the blatant members advertising

 

I at least hope they made it not 100%(theoretically) random, and did put some form of balance in it. By the gods, if it was 100% random, one guy could be rolling 50 million gp a day when someone with just the same level of skill and determination could be bringing in 50 gp a day.
