Estoc
Inb4 I start getting assassination random. First random since this post. homer205
One way to speed up the assassination event is to click to move the marketeer once the assassin begins talking to him, it lets you skip all that dialogue and brings up the summary page right away. Saradomin_Mage
Guess this qualifies for a good morning geddit? 1 In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
Allmonkey
This game is evil. The voyage on the top is an 8000 morale and combat voyage too.At least my 12k seafaring scroll voyage better succeed after using up 3 bottled seasinger cries. Urza285
Think I lost a small cherry wood mission. It was that flat head giant one... Is that a big one? Can't remember... Urza285
Today was my first experience with POP...love it :wub:Yeah it's great, but gets a bit boring up until after a bit into the scythe. By then you start noticing the trade materials start trickling in on manageable voyages. Kentis
I'm probably quite late, but I made some rocktail soups today. They sold for 33k instant, which makes it really not worthwhile... But I heard that there's some kind of enhancer that allows you to make 10 soups per spice, which would be awesome.
Urza285
Probably an untradable version of the soup. Maxed [February 14, 2012] | Completionist [October 25, 2012] | Trimmed Completionist [in Progress]Visit my Blog!

Syd
So I decided to recruit a new, high morale Hook Captain for 10k chimes I cried. Haha!! That's really unlucky. Poor guy! Sorry I can't help but laugh to that. :D On another note. Just about to get 3rd ship. Wohoo, time to go back to Scythe some more!
Sumpta
So I decided to recruit a new, high morale Hook Captain for 10k chimes I cried. Oh man, I feel for you. I haven't seen a 10k chimes captain pop up since the time when I only had 8k chimes. Even used up 3 captain rerolls to no avail. I've also gone 3 days without a Scythe seafaring guy. And a merchant type sailor is still eluding me as well. Sigh.
Ezkaton
Is it actually worth trying to fit a merchant into your crew, especially during the Scythe with the high req missions? Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

I'm very curious on how some storylines develop but im not being able to do them recently. I don't think anyone has finished them yet, each story mission seems to have 1-2 missions unlocked per region making it impossible to get all the way through just yet. Thorgmir
Here's a useful trick that I've found while doing my voyages. Unlock the third ship slot as soon as you can after entering the Scythe. Then, use your first two ships to keep doing Scythe missions, and use the third to do regular Arc/Skull/Hook voyages throughout the day. Your lower-tier voyage will be able to succeed with whatever crew members you aren't using on your Scythe voyages and will get you all the resources you need for port upgrades. Unless you get up in the middle of the night, you can't get through all your voyages in the Scythe each day anyway.

I just set an alarm for three hours after I go to bed, wake up check ports and go back to bed. Doesn't affect my sleeping and I can do all scythe voyages in a day without needing to change region, and I wake up just a few minutes after the voyages return, so I'm never waiting around for ports to finish. Mind you, I won't be doing this anymore next week when I go back to school.

Quyneax
That definitely affects your sleeping >_>Maybe you should focus on what he's trying to say, which is that it's doable and not a problem for him. Nobody's interested in whether it affects his sleep or not, of course it does, that's a given. Instead of taking a post too literally and finding fault with it, focus on the message and respond to that. I've been getting up earlier (very early) for ports as well, and have no problem getting all the Scythe voyages done, though I did get three Arc voyages (Scythe focus) for some reason. 1 Supporter of Zaros | Quest Cape owner since 22 may 2010 | No skills below 99 | Total level 2595 | Completionist Cape owner since 17th June 2013 | Suggestions 99 summoning (18th June 2011, previously untrimmed) | 99 farming (14th July 2011) | 99 prayer (8th September 2011) | 99 constitution (10th September 2011) | 99 dungeoneering (15th November 2011) 99 ranged (28th November 2011) | 99 attack, 99 defence, 99 strength (11th December 2011) | 99 slayer (18th December 2011) | 99 magic (22nd December 2011) | 99 construction (16th March 2012) 99 herblore (22nd March 2012) | 99 firemaking (26th March 2012) | 99 cooking (2nd July 2012) | 99 runecrafting (12th March 2012) | 99 crafting (26th August 2012) | 99 agility (19th November 2012) 99 woodcutting (22nd November 2012) | 99 fletching (31st December 2012) | 99 thieving (3rd January 2013) | 99 hunter (11th January 2013) | 99 mining (21st January 2013) | 99 fishing (21st January 2013) 99 smithing (21st January 2013) | 120 dungeoneering (17th June 2013) | 99 divination (24th November 2013) Tormented demon drops: twenty effigies, nine pairs of claws, two dragon armour slices and one elite clue | Dagannoth king drops: two dragon hatchets, two elite clues, one archer ring and one warrior ring Glacor drops: four pairs of ragefire boots, one pair of steadfast boots, six effigies, two hundred lots of Armadyl shards, three elite clues | Nex split: Torva boots | Kalphite King split: off-hand drygore mace 30/30 Shattered Heart statues completed | 16/16 Court Cases completed | 25/25 Choc Chimp Ices delivered | 500/500 Vyrewatch burned | 584/584 tasks completed | 4000/4000 chompies hunted
