I'm sick of the RS Forums
All this is good advice. Except for the fat that some forum mods don't read what you've written, know all the rules, or know anything about the game itself. If the Customer Support was better, than I would never be offended for having a rant locked. But with Jagex's infamous support? Well...

The "Eye of Saradomin"
That was me... hehehe... Still have yet to play the game so no wonder. As Sarge1010 said, it could be the Stone of Jas. The reason why it is now known as the Eye of Saradomin is simply because the old wizard's tower was run by saradominists.

The Wise Old Man - An Unsolved Mystery...POST ALL EVIDENCE!
I think it's for after Back to My Roots. In it, and I'm going from the Quest Guide on Tip.it, I think you get the rest of the wizard from the Hand in the Sand body and that coffin is used in his burial.

General Graador - Maybe a Half Ogre and Goblin?
I seem to remember this topic being created before... Anyhoo, as someone said earlier, someone who went out and RESEARCHED it, Graador is part of a now extinct race. Furthermore, he is not denoted as a slayer monster, as someone else kindly pointed out, meaning he is not a Goblin, Ogre, Mogre, Jogre, or even troll. And just because what you saved was labeled as Jogre body does not make him a Jogre. Maybe the people who make the lore and the people who do graphics work independently? Or maybe it was labeled long before Jagex decided on his backstory. Why is this the hot topic again?

Ugh, Going idle.
I like the idea of increasing the limit to 2-3 minutes before logging out. After all, there are many legitimate reasons to leave the keyboard. For example: My dog just had puppies. This means that I need to check on them every 5-10 minutes plus whenever they cry. This, as you can imagine, really puts a crimp in my gaming and is also the reason why I'm up at 3:30 A.M. Getting logged out every seven minutes is not fun, at least not for me.

The Yellow Un-Repellable Orb Project...
I dislike the fact that one token equals one pure ess. I'm all for lowering pure ess prices, but is this really the way to go?

12 Aug 2008 - Runecrafting Guild and Game - For All Players!
yup,but w/e,runecrafting will finally get he respect it deserves! Oi! It already is respected. With tons of people doing it, and thinking it's far easier, it will do nothing but LOSE respect.

12 Aug 2008 - Runecrafting Guild and Game - For All Players!
If you wear an unlocked ring of charos when talking to the wizard at the entrance, you can charm her to go into a little more depth about her project. All I could get was that she is looking for another energy source- could this be the fabled soul altar? She said I was too inexperienced in the guild to be told anymore. Maybe someone with a higher RC than 51 could get some more info?

King Black Dragon: Needs a Update?
Why is Jad considered so hard? Sure he can two hit you, use all three combat styles, and can only be soloed, but I've seen several players in the 90 level range with fire capes. Plus, you beat him after clawing through, what?, 60 waves of increasingly tougher monsters on one inventory with, I believe but could be wrong, no familiars. Is that really more tough than the GWD or the KQ? Plus, if you die you lose NO items. Maybe the rewards are quite as profitable (though the fire cape IS the best in the game) but mostly what it is is time consuming.

CLOSE - People misinterpretted the post... -.-
I lag on HD because I use Satellite. People with Satellite tend to lag more on online games than people without and this has nothing to do with the quality of the computer or the internet provider. Found that out thanks to WoW. Oh, and the reason why people complain about not being able to play HD lag free, is because they meet the requirements and are being forced to play on old detail modes. Plus, there is a 95 cent increase in cost of Runescape membership, for new subscribers, in a month or so, and I believe HD caused that.

F2P getting a lot?
What people keep forgetting is that Bounty Hunter, Clan Wars, and Fist of Guthix are replacements for wilderness PKing, something that was FAR larger in F2P than P2P.

I feel like I've beaten Runescape.
If we get 2-3 of these a month, does this say something about RS? Like maybe people are bored but keep playing out of obligation to friends or the time already spent?

A Whole New World???
Well surely your character cant be that stupid that he changes the past, the littlest thing can cause a big change of events. What I mean is if the monkeys need to be brought to that point then a traveler from the future might end up doing it. Not that stupid? Eh, he doesn't need to be stupid; it could all be a mistake like in Regicide or RFD.
-
A Whole New World???
Anyone notice how the monkey civilization is similar to Planet of the Apes and stuff of that nature? What happens if it was one of us who went back in time and acted as the catalyst, with the monkey amulet and greegree, to create that civilization?

What has Runescape taught you in rl?
It has taught me that many, many, many more people than I'd like don't engage in cerebral exertions nearly as often as they ought.

new low from players
Sigh... This is Jagex's greatest flaw: The worst customer support outside of China and the IRS. The guy got punished for saying something that Jagex said he could say and, instead of reading the whole conversation, they just decided he was in the wrong.

So We WERE playing different games!
These methods fail to create the problem that made Jagex adjust the game in Dec. And that problem wasn't tens of thousands of bot accounts, or mass RWT. Many players think Jagex changed the game just to stop RWT, and that's not the real truth. They did the updates NOT because RWT were making the game hard to play, they did it because the Credit Card Companies were getting ready to stop accepting payments from Jagex. Until the CCC made that threat the 5 bucks per account from RWT was just as good as the 5 bucks from an honest player. Sure, they banned token amounts of bots and RWT. But when an account can be botted up high enough to fish sharks then there's a problem. It's fairly easy to see an account played so many hours a day from America, is being leveled by a tweaking service when it suddenly logs into a proxy server in Asia, and is played three times as long per day. And the only way to stop RWT in BH is to just remove looting from PvP. And quite honestly, I would rather of had the old wild left alone, and just had player looting removed than what they have given us in BH. Sadly, even though I wish Jagex would stop ALL cheating, the amount and type of cheating left does not affect the CCC, and that means their income isn't affected, so Jagex won't really do much to stop it. But what about WoW or the countless other MMORPGs that do absolutely nothing about RWT? How many of them have been shut down? I believe that the banks were making empty threats- after all, I'm still playing WoW with a credit card. Plus, a distinct minority of Gold Farmers stole credit cards. What would be the point? It's similar to the difference between robbery and armed robbery. If you can pull of robbery without being armed, the penalty is far lower than if you were waving a gun around.

Re-write of Runescape History
My own theory is that Runescape wasn't created by any specific God- it had always been here. Various God's found it and created matter or brought creatures onto it. In fact, I think nothing was created by any of the known God's (except Serena and the elves). Besides Human's being brought to this plane by Guthix, we also know that goblins were brought here by Bandos. So maybe none of the races were created here, but were implanted.

So We WERE playing different games!
Runecrafting is still a reasonable moneymaker now, better enjoy it. Infact, enjoy all of your skills. One day, with one update, it will be swept away because it cant be profitable/training gets made too easy/you wont earn respect because you are just one of those thousands of people who have that skill cape. If you, the skillers who don't care about pkers, one day will have to deal with the death of runecrafting, all of us will make those annoying signatures who say: 11/ 02 /2009, the day runecrafting died GET OVER IT. We will too treat you like the scum of the earth, just like you did back in the dec 10 updates. Its nothing new that Jagex would make a mistake, but the day that skillers were actually laughing at the pkers, The oh so peaceful and thoughtful skillers who were obviously better then the pkers, is the day that the community became just one step further to the inevitable hell-hole that it is bound to be. Some day, you will all cuss your way towards the top, fighting for that tree or that ore. Throwing foul words at each other because he took your monster spot, or your arrows, Messaging them on a chat program because they are junk trading. And you will ignore the fact that you are contributing to an ever worsening community. *gets thrown in a truck* You will all pay! REMORSE! *gets taken away* This may happen one day, and the part of worsening community is occurring as we speak. I sympathize with the PK'ers though I never liked the art. And, if RWT continues, what will Jagex do to stop it? Don't roll your eyes at me. RWT can still be done through the BH, via borrowing items, or even just through account leveling. These methods are far less feasible than the old methods, but if they get more popular do you think Jagex is just going to let it happen?

If there was any doubt before...
Agreed. So... You believe it's for the best if players are able to curse like sailors? You believe it's for the best if the rules were made so that the more fortunate players held the advantages? [Read] You believe it's a bad idea to improve barriers around dangerous parts of the game? [Read] 1. Yes. Yes I do. When players are able to curse they tend to not. In WoW players CAN curse but many choose not to. In Runescape players CAN'T curse, but many try. 2. To quote Mad Hamis: "Whut?" These aren't the rules being discussed. 3. Yes. Barriers take away the sense of adventure in a game. A dangerous area can be fun if you don't know it's dangerous. It makes the game more exciting.

F2P Runescape now has popups..
Maaaan... This could come back to bite them in the bum- what happens if some twelve year old starts up Runescape and gets a pop-up for hot girls? I smell a lawsuit!

Stone of jas...
I was thinking it looks more like a Bucky Ball. Anyway, if that is the stone of Jas, I think it was destroyed. Why? Well, look at the runecrafting altars. They were destroyed by the Fremmenik so maybe they attacked the stone as well. OR maybe the altars are made from pieces of the orb of Jas.

I feel like I've beaten Runescape.
I feel the same as well. I've quit for a few months, twice, come back and discovered the new stuff. Then I did it, and things started getting to be like work... but I kept playing. Runescape is different than most games because you feel obligated to do stuff you don't want to.

A Whole New World???
Meh, I don't think so. The knight in Varrock Castle you talk to during the quest is his grandson or whatever. That would mean you knock someone up in the past, you sicko  Oh great, a lesson in not messing with history from mister "I'm my own Grandpa..."
