yea i know, but alot of u guys are complaining about getting bones so i just threw that out there. can understand what the prayer-X option is about, but i haven't tested it yet to see how good it is.

 

It hasn't been released, they're simply saying this....

 

 

 

If they add Prayer-X it will take away the "wow!" from seeing someone with a Prayer cape.

I never, ever had the "wow" effect for Prayer ever since Construction was released.

DO YOU EVEN HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT 240K/HR IS? It's still vastly more than my best 36k xp/hr at ZMI, the fastest RC xp/hr available for me.

Sorry mate but Mining was the only skill easier in RSC, because the ore dropped on the ground when you had a full inventory automatically.

Dragon Bone prices won't rise. You obviously aren't used the the RS economy.

havent people always been complaining about how if they made a "pray-X" then the prayer cape would become nooby? then why all of a sudden people praise the change right off the bat? i mean, i know that in the future people will grow to accept the change and see the benefits, but what happened to everyone saying "oh, prayer-X will be soooo nooby" or "jagex is a bunch of noobs if they think they can make a pray-X"...wheres the flare over the discussion of all the "(skill)-X" options?

A couple of points here, but first I want to address an issue I've had for a little while now. Why is it that in what seems to be 99.99% of your posts on this forum, you make references to how tough mining is, and how you are so incredible at it...get over yourself? My primary account has 89 mining, and to be honest with you it was not hard whatsoever. There are thousands of people with better mining than me, and, like me, a lot of them got it passively. With 50k+ xp/hour it really is not slow at all. And if you choose other method theres a large profit incentive. So yes - please stop making reference to your "godly" ability to do what thousands have done before you.

 

 

 

Rant aside - in reference to your point regarding people complaining about "pray-x" and saying it should never be released... well, now it has been released and theres plenty of posts on this thread and the other from users who are rather annoyed at this update. However, theres plenty of people who do not think that semi afkable 250kxp/hour is a bad thing.

 

 

 

And anyway, people are perfectly within their own right to change their mind over something. For example - I think Sailing would not be a good skill to implement into the game. However, if it were to be released, and the content was incredible, blowing my mind...I would be more than willing to admit that I was wrong about the idea, and that Sailing has in fact become a great skill.

Prayer has been pathetically easy to train ever since the POH altars came up. Now, they changed it so that the xp is slower, but your wrists are saved. You still have to buy all the bones and bring them to the altar and such.

 

 

 

How would that make a prayer cape "nooby" all of a sudden? The xp is slower for crying out loud. And due to this update, dragon bones are increasing in price, making it even more costly.

Don't moan to me about XP per hour lol, I happily sat getting 24K Strength XP per hour on a daily basis back on classic, then RS2 came and ruined it all, made the game too easy.

The annoying thing about it is that you offer bones slower then you used to do to. The same thing happened to stringing a bow. The x-option made it slower.

The accomplishment of a high prayer level was NEVER the clicking aspect. Anyone who thinks that is quite misinformed. It's all about the MONEY. Honestly, you can't compare the difficulty of making the money for 99 prayer to using the bones. The money portion of the skill blows away the clicking by a mile and a half.

 

 

 

To be honest this has almost 0 effect on my opinion of a prayer cape. I don't respect people getting carpal tunnel over a game (kudos to Jagex for realising that's NOT what games are about) but I do respect someone who has the patience to get all the money for 99 prayer AND dish it all out on one skill (that last part is much harder than many people realise).

 

 

 

As far as xp/hr goes it is still very fast xp (the way it should be). People whining should thank their wrists it's this way, people whining that they don't respect a prayer cape anymore (/care :roll: ) need to realise it's still a damn hard skill and this update has changed nothing for the worse.

its a trade-off krampell, jagex had this decision to make: keep it as is, so strain on wrists and real work for better xp/h rate

 

 

 

or no strain on wrists, more relaxing (and enjoyable!) for a bit lower exp/h rate.

You always go on and on about how awesome your runecrafting and mining levels are, quite frankly, they suck. 85 mining isn't even that hard, and 69 runecrafting is even more easy to get.
