xpx
[spoiler=Long quote]It's an interesting battle I think... Two names that are barely discussed here but are worth attention are:Dapledo; Yes, only 1.2B xp, but his lowest skills except for the new one is over 30M and the hard to train skills (rc, fishing, farming, agility, mining) are all 50M+Serpenttine; Yes he/she got quite low totalxp atm, but he/she will play like a Zarfot the 2nd, watch my words ;) The most effective top player to max all skills to 200M is probably Zarfot atm, but even he... Or she, I don't even know  isn't perfect. If you make 200M xp in a skill before all other skills are like +- at least 180M then you probably will gain even more xp during your RS career. With 200M in Dungeon for example you gain about 1M in all the other skills as well (I guess, if not more), so in fact training to 200M is a waste because you actually train to 201M for no reason... On the other side, owning rank 1 in a skill is pretty cool too :P! The person that probably plays the least effective way to 200M everything of all top players might be Drumgun, but owning 6 records in experience a month (+ overall xp record a month) is quite a impressive achievement as well isn't it? :P And he still got some skills left where he can achieve it in as well :)! And yes, El popo1 is probably the best F2p player atm.Even tho Water is nat isn't that bad either ;). I think El popo1 is in fact a better playing dung then any P2p player, but... No you just can't really prove it can you? Players like Serpenttine achieve like 2M xp in dung on daily base if they train, no F2p player has ever achieved any way close near that a day as far as I know, so that's about 2 times as much as any F2p player so yes El popo1 did quite some achievement atm! Also note that El popo1 didn't dung from day 1, he first finished his ranged to 200M... El popo1 achieves about 700K dung xp a day, maybe raising a little bit after the whole skill is released and he gains lvls, he does't have the best armour or weapons like P2p does, so in fact he really really is the best by miles in my opinion ;)! You're not the best because you face adversity. You're the best when you get the best results. Being the best also means having the best stuff, f2p or not. Being the most skilled, however, I think it might be true.I think there is much more skill involved in p2p large dungeons than f2p larges with medium level monsters, most impressive however, he might just be. To whoever said that it's sad to not consider top players results on this weekend impressive or not- they are going to be putting in the hours no matter what, but if they can save 13 hours of training by nolifing on a specific weekend, it seems logical to me that they do. achieving this ridiculous goal is mostly about doing things smart, and it'd be smart to go all out now(for example, it is a massive disappointment skiller(or any of the other top players) didn't do 12 hours of herblore for 20m xp because without the bonus, it would take 20+ hours, but i think this more or less shows the monetary situation of those top players. uzi0espil
i dont guess even with people getting 6 of 200 mills but yet those 6 200ls are the easiest really.. firemaking/wc/fletching/cook and somehow people manage to get 200 in crafting by spending uncounted money as if you notice almost in every skill there is atleast 1 200 man so it still possiple! but not all in a 1 man.. that wat i was trying to talk about :shades: atm people getting 2.2billion xp by getting 200m of all easiest skill <_< and jagex may thought of that and didnt even want to see people getting over 175 maxed people after 4 monthes of a new skill -.- so they made a new skill "" dungeoneering "" which is lvl 120 10x harder than getting 99 skill thats why they can make a less of people to max out and no doubt about it but im not making sure of it but i guess from now all new skills are 120 end.. because in runefest i saw pictures which im not sure..i wasnt there but there was some styles of 120 skillcapes which i understood even capes are changed from skill to skill.. ----------------------- i hope no one who knows better than me just keep replaying on bad comments im just saying wat i know

Danqazmlp
It doesn't make you smart to bring up an old picture, especially after the player in question has already given the explination: My gf and I logged into a world and saw that there was a guy soloing already. So, we were being nice and logged into lobby so that this player could finish his trip in peace. We logged in shortly after that again, and noticed the same player was still there. BUT! He was being crashed by a new player, which was your friend. I don't like how some people think that a divine + chaotic weap + other pro stuff gives them the right to do anything they please. Clearly they do not care for others, and he had the arrogant attitude to match it. We explained that we were waiting for that player to finish his trip, but since he was crashing him already, odds were low that he wasn't gonna crash us either. So nope, he continued to crash, the player we were waiting for had to tele out, and then it was just us 3. So of course we outhit him at first, and then he left to get his proper crash gear. And yep he did come back with it, making more arrogant remarks while doing so. I am a man of justice. If an injustice occurs, then I'm going to do something against it. Certainly when it involves me directly, obviously. Now then, dear Pere, I'm sure he was happy to screenie the final part of our conversation and give his own deranged twist to the story (wouldn't expect anything less from such a person), but I'm sure that he didn't tell ya how it started or screenie the things he said first, did he now? Idgaf if he's your friend, or a TIFer, or the queen of England for all I care; being unreasonable and arrogant like that and I'm going to have a problem with you. I gave his name to some pro bandos friends of mine, funny actually, they were people that I met at abby demons. Anyway, they'll know that he's a rotten apple now. Of course that can all be reversed, if you can get your friend to apologize - and he must also promise to never crash someone at bandos again. If your friend is the amazing and innocent guy that you make him out to be, this won't be a problem will it? And if he says 'hell no!'...now that would just prove my point now wouldn't it? But if you do have a problem with Drumgun, as he now has an account here, you can take it up with him as it has no relation to this topic. Want to be my friend? Low C
Isn't naming players in a negative light against forum rules? Anyways I know I've raged at crashers before so I'm glad I'm not a "famous runescaper" or I would screenshots floating around showing me being an ass. deyan2
Peoples like to predict, if nobody follows the top there would be no fun... This is why peoples can even achieve real cash with just winning a game (tennis, football, basketball, call any sport) ;). Well it's the same with RS ;) and if one person should know this it would be you wouldn't it Lucipher6? *edit: And Dapledo does gain xp, and quite a lot as well, just not as much as the peoples most peoples concider as the top but that's because he trains the "hard to train skills" instead of the more easy buyables ;)! langer
I'm curious as to why people actually care about what high level players are doing, never really made any sense to me. Some people feels that top players are using the best and fastest methods and they want to know those methods so they can achieve their personnal objectives. Other people like me are simply numbers and stats addicts who like to watch the highscores. Probably scores of other reasons, these were the main ones that came to mind. Off topic, good luck with your goals and especially slayer. Very impressive. Zarfot
Well someone told me I would think this thread is funny, so I read some of it. And it IS funny... you guys act like you're talking about a dog race or something, lol. It isn't necessarily your business what others are doing, what they aren't doing, or what you think they're doing but really aren't. The calculations that Arcane posted were interesting, however- they really show how much easier RS is becoming.

Riptide Mage
Dan I think this is a different picture, showing that your dear drumgun is doing it again It is a different picture, and I find it very odd that a player mod would be allowed to say such things, when it would most certainly result in a mute or ban for an ordinary player. You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.
Aasiwat
I too find parts of the discussion on this topic hilarious, i.e. "It's a massive disappointment to see top players not doing herblore on the bonus xp weekend" and stuff like that. Even though we have obviously been dedicated players over a long time, you should remember that most people still probably wouldn't be playing if it wasn't for fun. Personally I'd say nobody is going to max all skills for a while, the people who have unlimited time don't seem to be able to merchant properly, or think that flip-merchanting is somehow against the spirit of the game (while in reality it helps balancing the economy) and would rather waste 3 years on making the money in other ways instead; and other players with very high xp have only just done all buyables, meaning they will be slowing down a lot. And it really isn't something you can plan on within a schedule, most people will eventually grow out of it or find something else to keep themselves occupied with over the years to come. Racheya
It's strange really. I'm one of the least efficiency focused people there is, but even I find myself being drawn to this thread now and again. I suppose the concept of watching high-level players race for the max 200m mark is fascinating in a strange way and like Zarfot said - it's almost like a spectator sport. Of course I mean that in a genuine way, the people that go for 200m are seriously dedicated and deserve respect for trying to achieve goals that seem insurmountable. I couldn't dream of getting such incredible amounts of xp. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
