Using a bug. Granted, the amount of focus and precision to do that is impressive, but that feat was with a bug, nonetheless.

Soul split and protect flicking is a bug? Or am I missing something?

Meh not hard to solo it without food after you hammer it 300x with swh to get it's def to 0 lol

There is a bug (similar to the purple sweets bug of a long time ago) where Corp's mage attack hits slower than your SS effect, enabling you (with a HUGE amount of luck, as his melee and splash claw attack don't have this effect) to survive at 1 LP.

Good luck hammering the corp several times withoit food.

You cant leave the Room side it heals to folk health.

 

As for the bug..

There was a bug which caused soul splot to reducr recieved damage if its higher then your current lp.

 

So its about to hit you 200. You have 176 lp. Its hit is lowered to 176 instead 200.

 

With a bit of luck u canregenerate 1 lp or even soul split 1+ lp so that you stay alive.

Unfortunately, OTG has a few really off-the-wall pointless requirements.

 

One, 96 summoning. Okay, I understand the benefit of being able to bank your loots, but that's a personal benefit and not a TEAM benefit. Except at DKs, a yak and a pony are about equal when it comes to how long you can stay. This might change with the new boss, but that is to be seen.

 

Two, 95 herblore. Why? Why not 92? I can make just as many OVL at 92 (or hell, even 91) herb as I can at 94 or 95. It's called the Stew Trick. Ya?

 

I agree, but if you have them go for it, and everyone should have 96 summoning, and you will get 95 herblore eventually anyway.

See the quandary?

Shouldn't it be 94 herb with greenman's m, not even considering that the stew trick(which I'm amazed ahsn't been fixed by now) could put it at 90...or 92 for sanity's sake? Just a thought...

Not sure if they can fix the stew trick, as I believe it's part of the engine's design. Anyway, getting a +4 boost isn't terribly hard. Usually takes around 5 stews at most.

Defeating RuneScapes most powerful and intelligent boss

 

a boss that requires you to think for a kill, is allmost allways harder then a boss that simply has raw strength.

think of the corp, dies in one game tick with enough people.

 

i hope it has something that, plain and simply, does not alow it to die that fast. no matter how many people you take.

 

also some efects like stealing power from people (more players trying to kill it = stronger boss) would be nice.

the minimum i would ask for is it to be cemi-instanced. aka like 3 boss's per a world insted of 1.

 

i also hope its mage and range defence are = too, or lowwer, then its melee defence.

mage needs a high level profitable boss.

I'm glad they're continuing the dwarf series so soon, and hope that they release the graphical update for them at the same time, but then that is rather unlikely...

Hopefully the new gravestone isn't ridiculous looking like the most expensive one is right now. I use Zamorak's grave instead because of it...

I'll be an ass and say it: the pro monster clans (OTG in this case) are for pros. Don't cry because you can't afford an "expensive" level. They can raise their requirements whichever way they want. If they want to keep poor kids out without decent levels, then so be it. It's not like pros just got their levels from scratch, just like everyone else they worked for the cash and levels. Consider working instead of complaining yourself.

 

And if you're crying because the pros already occupy the boss rooms, think about this. With the new boss, go DKing. Very few people will be there, so hell, plenty of empty rooms.

Just saying, Pack Yak allows you to bring more supplies and then you can bring a uni pouch or two after; they actually do help, depending on the boss.

Also, Greenman's ale (M) often doesn't buy (in my experience anyways) and 95 allows you to make overloads much, much quicker. The stew trick was fixed a while ago I believe.

No it's not. I made extremes and superantifires worth ~150k xp on one stew approx a week ago.

No it's not. I made extremes and superantifires worth ~150k xp on one stew approx a week ago.

 

Stew was a fake picture during xp weekend, stew still works.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Alas most probably the latter. However... if it is instanced it could be a way of making the boss more difficult by putting a limit on the number of people who can fight it. 50 ppl all specing on one boss isn't much of a challenge.

Alas most probably the latter. However... if it is instanced it could be a way of making the boss more difficult by putting a limit on the number of people who can fight it. 50 ppl all specing on one boss isn't much of a challenge.

 

People don't PvM in groups of 50 in runescape due to the lack of profit. People who do this besides corp, are either pures or just noobs.
