I'm having trouble sending out 3 80% voyages atm, mainly because a lot of the jade requirements are in stats i've already sent voyages out, which is a real (bleep). was forced to send out a 67% 6 chi voyage, which, knowing my luck, will fail >.<

 

Reroll voyages, and get ones you like. If you want focus on jade of course. Its not good send low chance voyages in trade good missions as in case of fail it gona hurt.

I noticed that in Bowl region witches become uber useless. As better ( easier ) is to make single stats missions than double ones -well maybe for me.

i've noticed they're really useful as her stats add up to 2k+. i tend to not re-roll voyages a lot because the one time i did i ended up cycling through 6 and just ending up with a 300 cherrywood lol. Maybe its just i'm lucky with doubled sf and morale

It's only a hook captain, so it'll be replaced long before Jagex fixes anything. I just did it as a joke. :P

Those are good stats for a hook captain BTW. I don't even have one with a stat over 1,200, although most cost 10k chimes.

Iunno, would seem odd to stop getting rare and better captains half way through. Wouldn't be hard to replace him either way, I see Hook captains all the time in the Bowl.

But then they'll become decent morale+combat dual captains :)

I hate you. :evil: I have only seen 2 since unlocking the hook. Note that we got the rare hook captain and then we but scythe and bowl and still no new captains yet..

I just got my 10k captain and he's morale based with quick footed, eager and eagle eyed on him. I also sent out a scroll voyage at 79%. Hoping for tetsu legplate scroll 3/4.

 

Edit: I'm 35% into the bowl and only need 325 jade to buy my last hull upgrade. I also got the crescent island voyage for the judge of dice. I sent it out with I think a 79% or 85% chance. Seems a lot of my big voyages such as the special unit, scroll or story line voyages end up around 80% chance. I think from here my next move is the pristine warehouse for 5% jade returns and the maybe a totem before I begin saving for ship #4.

How did you send out a triple 5800 voyage not at 100%, with all the deck items, hulls and crew you've bought? Were they tied up elsewhere?

 

I'm not too keen on building the warehouse (though I probably will at some later point) because it's a 5% boost to jade for 4000 jade ... which means it only repays itself after you've earned 80k jade. Unless you're in it just for the port score, of course, but I'd rather get the luxurious bar first.

Yeah it was from leftovers. You are right about the warehouse. I keep getting the mentality it will save me time. Ill probably get the luxurious bar and some totems then... Maybe just two to start off with.

 

I am keen for port score, but generally I get the necessities first then swing back for the others.

60% through scythe and still no sign of a single 10k captain. Used every reroll I've had and I've got the best bar I can get until next zone. :(

15% into Bowl region, only seen one 10k captain.

Getting rather hard cause I keep having to send ships at around 70% due to my other captains not being good enough in comparison to the region :(

 

Got my first Judge of dice though, he's pretty.

Completed the Crescent Island voyage and bought my last jade ship upgrade. I just realized I'll probably need like another 1800 jade to buy 3 judge of dice (assuming they're 600 jade each). 5 hours left on my scroll voyage... Excited.

 

Edit: First roll and I get the Judge of Dice... 1k jade. FML, FML, FML... Could only roll one. I want to replace by scythe merchant with a bowl merchant (450 jade) and get the judge of dice x 3... or maybe even 4. So that is 4450 jade. Won't be saving jade for the fourth ship until I'm like 60% completion of the bowl I think.

 

Edit 2: Can't beat my captains names... "Rachal Rackham", "Rocko Song" and "The Dread Teach."

I got 3 10ks so far and I'm only 30% into Scythe o.O

 

Problem was, I had low chimes so had to grind chime missions and each time barely got enough before the tick to get them xD

 

Got 2 morale, 1 Seafaring 10ker, both have over 1k of that stat now that I've leveled them a bit. Not sure why you guys are having trouble finding them o.O Though I do admit my first came like 15% into Scythe, then had 2 in 3 days shortly after.
