  1. Not so much TV shows, but advertisments. Yup. And reality TV. Also, docu-drama miniseries.
  2. We all trapical Umm. Don't have actually much to say about love though. Lust is also everywhere. Just not as exposed. There.
  3. Just a word. People have been using it for some time now. I don't see anything special about. It gains no extra-significance with a number attached to it.
  4. Why so hostile, at least find a way to deject them nicely. Anyway, what the heck' ? I wouldn't suggest doing this. Unless it's like a 5 minute sketch with bad costumes and the whole Abbot and Costello schtick.
  5. Lets go to the ever resourceful UrbanDictionary Nerd 1.) One whose IQ exceeds his weight. 2.) An individual persecuted for his superior skills or intellect, most often by people who fear and envy him. 3.) An 'individual', i.e. a person who does not conform to society's beliefs that all people should follow trends and do what their peers do. Often highly intelligent but socially rejected because of their obesssion with a given subject, usually computers. Unfortunately, nerds seem to have problems breeding, to the detriment of mankind as a whole. ... ... 5.) ... Often mistaken for Geeks, who aspire to become nerds, yet lack the intelligence, and end up giving nerds a bad name due to their poor social skills. Ok now, Geeks 1.) The people you pick on in high school and wind up working for as an adult 2.) Not to be confused with Nerd. A geek does not have to be smart, a Geek is someone who is generaly not athletic, and enjoys Video Games; Comic Books; being on the internet, and etc. Only a geek would waste their time on the internet, defining geek on urbandictionary.com 3.) ... Note: Unlike the word "nerd," which is always pejorative, "geek" often carries a positive connotation when used by one of the group. The use of the term by outsiders is considered insulting. So. A geek is a lesser form of a nerd. From what I gather.
  6. It may be just me, but do you guys ever think about how you might die ? When you might die ? If you could die right now, while crossing the street. What ramifications would it have ? Did my life actually mean anything, besides to the ones I knew ? Your regrets, why you are dying. The people around you. It's not necessarily I'm afraid of it, but rather I'm interested. I think about it fairly often. Do you guys ? Just to let you know -- I'm not some crazy freak.
  7. Whats a jaffa cake ? I had to googl'd it. Looks tasty.
  8. I have access to both and they aren't worried. As you said.
  9. Yeah, it's not really a fair fight for Israel. Poor Israel. Palestine has the support of all the Islamic nations and we all know how they just hate Jews. Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia. Plus I like the Israeli's contingency plan. I mean these are dedicated bastards. Ok. You kill one more Israeli citizen, WE RUIN your [cabbage]. And they did. 1600 dead. Why can't they just live peacefully. I mean the Zionist movement is OLD. The Israelis don't have certain fundamentalist factions, in fact they live peacefully. It's only when provoked. I mean I'd be pissed if there were rocket attacks on my home soil. Also, their anti-terrorist policies are ones which all nations should adopt. You know the real reason why people in the mass demonstrations wear face masks ? Because if their face is shown, I'm serious here, the Israelis will find them. And kill them. Interesting stuff. Personally, I'm all for a Zionist state. and I'm pro peace, and pro Israel. Nothing wrong with Palestinians but everyone should just - live. Ya' know ? Oh, and lets not forget about HAMAS. Money from Saudi is being pumped. Everyone wants the Jews dead. [in that area] Why ? Come ooooon. Just live. Be nice. Happy Happy times.
  10. Using hand gestures is a good thing. It's not fidgeting. With palm cards, you don't even have the ability to move your hands but a good stance and loose frame helps. You ever done debating ? Try to keep your speech structure close to a critical essay. First, construct your argument, give proof for. Weigh the benefits of religion in society and make logical, progessive points about why religion should be seperate from the state. Give hard, solid facts and always analayse your point and relate back to your original thesis. Consolidate your argument at the end of your speech. NEVER SAY " In Conclusion ". That's a one way ticket to zero marks. EDIT: Spelling
  11. Alrighty. 1.) Are FPS that you play over the net, like CS or Combat Arms or something like that a MAJOR strain on your limit ? I mean I've got 15 Gigs a month peak time, so does it use alot of it up ? 2.) When I run a game, a week ago the fan stayed mostly silent when I played. Now, when I play that same game the fan is going on overdrive. What's happening ? Anything I can do to fix it ? Possible causes ? Yup, thats it. Thanks.

You tried to commit suicide right ? How old are you ?!
  13. A smiley cannot express my shock. Why ? How ? EDIT: I doubt this is a fake, but still...
  14. Aaaaand this is why I love OT. Page 1, Robert De Sable brings up Sri Lankan protesters, and his problem with them, like an annoyed but less-racially motivated skin head and then I scroll down, jump to page three and we're talking about Stalingrad and the Second World War. Either way, since I have nothing to contribute, I'll just say you're all Nazis for the heck' of it. And Robert, next time you're held upside down by your ankles, in some godforsaken cave in Tora Bora, and being mercilessly flogged -- don't expect any sympathy from me or the Canadian Government. In fact, here in Australia, I don't give, to use the vernacular, a rats arse about you. You know I'm joking. I actually love you Robert, you're such a nice, funny, warm-hearted guy. I'm serious.
  15. You should definitely start a ZZ Top cover band. Yeah, but sure as hell ZZ Top or any coverers of them aren't getting laid. Which is the MAIN reason why people play guitar. Yeah, you heard me. Haha, good luck ! Fix'd Nope, they're too busy getting -- Also, FIXD. Please don't do anything to me MODS of OT.
  16. Yeah, my friend was a level 2 judge. Mostly did informal stuff. A few sanctioned tournaments. Doesn't play anymore. You should know that.
  17. Hindus have like 300 million gods and goddesses... Yeah, but you can't let these trivial peripheries of religion be overused, misused, misquoted or contextualized. Most normal Hindus have a limited number of Gods, who are simply a symbol for a greater worship. Ugh, edit because I accidently navigated away from the page. Anway, to use an analogy think of gold. There are many different types of ornaments, jewellrey - but essentially they are composed of gold. Gold although having many different forms is still recognised as the most beautiful, perfect and suitable metal for these uses, and in this way gold likened to the, well ... you get it. :| No. Wrong. In the "traditional" sense.
  18. At first I smiled, and then I slapped myself. For some reason, I can't explain, but I actaully like Robert. In that morally reprehensible, sick sick twisted way. Much in the way like Rebdragon makes me laugh and cry. Interesting to see a fresh "outlook" on things. Not saying that I agree, or disagree for that matter, but still. And also, enough of goddamn Godwin's Law. I get it. No need for you to stuff an 20 year old USENET "thing" down my throat. Nothing wrong with that, but on average it gets mentioned about 5 times a page. And going again ON GODWIN'S LAW, this thread is going to be loooong. So enough of it. Please.

Mmm. Indeed. An Inspector Calls is one of my favourite plays to read. Has all the elements of a great piece of literature. I especially like the twist at the end. And how each major character has a element in the death. Foreshadowing in the first few scenes gives it away though. Should have been a Hitchcock film. Is the perfect Hitchcock film that book is really depressing; interesting read but really odd story. We havent gotten very far, but Kafka is [bleep] up. My friend was telling my about some of his other stories. Read the Hunger Artist. One of the less depressing stories he has done. Wacked out too. The Castle is good too.
  20. I'm assuming he misspelled it on purpose to avoid the censor. I don't agree with the flames but I also don't think Dawkins is the most intelligent man just for furthering the atheist movement. He is intelligent but there are many others who have surpassed him. A lot of his arguments are flawed too. Like you, I prefer Da Vinci and he was someone who believed in god. I used to be like that until I realized nonconformity is the new conformity. Heh. Rebdragon and Zierro. No homo but, you know I love you guys, right ?
  21. Guys. Just to clarify. I was commenting on the mental state of these people. Not advocating the use of torture of any kind. Read my previous posts. ;)
  22. I almost fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard...same with all my friends. and right when it started spinning....ohhhh god. If it wasn't for Liev Schreiber and Gambit (the whole 10 minutes he was in it, same like they did with Night Crawler :x ), I would have hated that movie I wholeheartedly agree. I watched Star Trek and Wolverine. I laughed so hard at the "engage" and all the other parts. Also Star Trek tried too hard to be funny.

So it was actually good? http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/star_trek_11/ Looks like it. Yeah, I just saw it yesterday and it was, in my opinion the best movie since the LotR franchise. But, still it didn't leave you with a sense of fulfillment. It's purpose was to set-up a franchise, and hey if it got a few good ratings along the way, well, why not ? Eric Bana was good as Nero. Didn't realise it was him until halfway through. That really sucks. What [bleep] [puncture]s. What the [bleep] is wrong with caucasians or anyone else for that matter? I'd like to give them a piece of my [bleep] mind. With alot of profanities, unfortunately. Yeah. Indians, I won't say all of them, but some are like that. I would know. Don't ask. Too bad you can't give people coldies anymore. The propellant is different now. -.- Seriously ? I'm all for mother's day (Note : LACK OF CAPITALISATION) but I think, everyday should be mother's day. Why have only one day dedicated to your mum ? Besides it uselessnes and triviality, it's nothing but a commercialization ... bah. What I mean to say - that its a Hallmark Holdiay. But, if you're Goddess, it doesn't really matter. Racheya, you're OT OBSESSION IS TOO MUCH. I wrote this in the time you took to post. Is your mum a big trekkie ? If not, it doesn't really matter.
  24. Yes, as Rebdragon said. Internets = bad. For your mind. Sure, a little online chatting and message boards are OK, but after what Racheya says she does, you'll be a goddamn vegetable. Go out and talk. I don't do that too much, but this is the one place I can be hypocritcal.
