Then .. become preppy? That's what I did. Now I have a hot preppy girlfriend. Yay? All you have to do is dress preppy, play sports, and get people to know who you are. Driving a nice car is a plus and not doing anything overly nerdy like LARPing (for anyone who's into that) will definitly help you out.. Alternatively, you could be yourself, and find a girl who you can actually connect with. Personally, I could never see myself dating a guy who dresses preppy and plays sports. But I could (and have) gone out with LARPers :P Trust me, there are plenty of girls like me who are just looking for the right geek! I watched a LARP game, it was held in a wet marshland, they used big colorful fireworks as the wizard's spells, shot arrows, had real metal armor, some swords & axes, it was cool as heck. Like watching real LOTR. The word 'nerdy' didn't even cross my mind during the game. ..But yeah, without the costumes the participants were a bit disappointing. And the plot was sort of lame. That mindset plagued me for many years, and I eventually came to a realization. Sure, most of the most attractive girls at school fit the whole "preppy" look (At least here in the States). However almost all of them are stuck up, daft, unintelligent, shallow, and everything else you don't want in a girlfriend. I'm not saying you shouldn't dress preppy, because its a nice clothing style, but just be yourself, and you'll find a girl soon enough, and it almost always happens where you're not expecting it. Who needs to be kissed when you can spend your life on the computer?! =P~ When I mean act preppy, I mean, change your clothing, and who you talk to, which doesn't mean get rid of your old friends, either. I don't change how I act - I still act completely nerdy, I just know when and when not to do it. I don't talk about what a cataphract is with most of the girls, regardless of whether they're preppy, because I know most people will instantly label you as a nerd. Another thing I should add is humor and self-confidence. Everyone loves a good joke, and most don't like to hear 'I hate .. blah blah.' Didn't know it'd get miscontrued so much. >_> Sorry everyone. So basiclay i was one of the last in my group to kiss a girl so i just kissed the first thing i saw :XD: so people wouldnt slag me. Ive changed since then and now i only kiss girls i would actuly consider having a relationship with. I cringe when I think of my hormonal 13-14 year old self yearning for one of those girls. It's a crappy time and I remember it being hard for any other group beyond the "preppy" group to stand out. As mad said, just look for somebody who appreciates you for who you are. The ones you want and want you are going to become visible soon enough. Just have a little patience. Well, there was a bonfire, and the two of us sat together, and right before it ended, we looked at each other and it just happened. We both leaned in and kissed. WE both went off to our cabins, to nervous to say anything but bye. Well, the next day I find out some kid had told the counselors we were "making out and other sexually explicit actions," and they sent me home that day, because I didn't live very far from the camp. I never saw her again except in fleeting as I left the camp. I didn't get her addrress or phone number, all I knew was she lived three states over from me and that was it, I had planned to get her number or something, but was to nervous to ask. I have absolutely no idea of how to get in contact with her, she had a very generic name so it's not easy to just look her up. I just have that memory of a very wonderful week at summer camp and the sad memory of seeing crying as she watched me leave camp. It is impossible to exaggerate the unimportance of almost everything. Im not social at this point in my life really (23) need to work on it more. Need to work on my social skills, but honestly so meny people are just annoying lol I wouldnt worry about this all much, If you are just go to some european countries or mexico, they kiss you as a greeting (no the cheeks) All things will come in time, and that if it doesnt then let not it ever have been. Most people you like, or will like really arent worth it, theres alot more to people then there seems and when you want to kiss someone and do, then you will know weather you really wanted too. I've always been a nature loving kind of guy, even when I was 13 or 14 (I think I was 14 since my birthday had just past at the time). There was this girl who I'd liked for a year about and we were really good friends. She had come over my house to watch some movies, but we got bored and went for a walk and ended up in some woods near my house. It was late fall, so it was chilly and we found a spot to sit down and we cuddled for warmth, and then it just happened. It was pretty awesome to say the least. After that we went on one hell of a relationship/friendship roller coaster until we decided to stay friends. Now we're great friends and she realized she was a lesbian.
