70 is pretty hot indoors for wintertime. I like 65ish. Below 60 is prime for sleeping though.

 

My housemates probably hate me, I turn down the heat every night and it's always stupidly hot again when I come back to go to bed. Seriously, who feels the need to turn the heat up to 75+? We live in New England and it's wintertime, no one should be cold at 65 let alone 70. I liked it better when the heat in my apartment didn't work and it was never over 55 (although it would probably only be like 35 in here now, so that would suck)

On the other hand, it feels so good to have it be 75 degrees inside and -10 outside. I love going to sleep with the heater up super high, especially since it's super freezing in winter in my room at my parent's house.

 

Not that I usually turn it up that high, just every once in a while.

Well then it's not crazy and your heating bill doesn't make me cringe. If I lived in Texas, I'd probably want to keep the house warm too.

 

Got way colder outside today, didn't think to adjust the radiator. Probably should have, but I'm used to it now. Been watching some Digimon on Netflix, a show I definitely wanted to see more of when I was target audience age. On the one hand, there is some level of consistency and logic in how powerful creatures are. On the other hand, some (all?) of these kids have crippling emotional/judgement issues, and it's actually kind of annoying (not issues themselves, but the yo-yoing between perfectly fine and frothing lunacy).

I usually keep the temperature at 19 (66F) during the day, and 17(63F) during the night. Being a Canadian I'm quite comfortable with those temperatures, and sometimes even feels too warm. The temperature in my apartment that is.

I like the temp to be around 15. I'll work with C and F on that one, but not K.

Well something weird is going on in my house.

So my parents have always had a bit of an issue with me and my girlfriend dating cause she's...not white. But recently they seemed to have warmed up to her a bit. I guess it's because i kind of invite her to family events and stuff, so they are forced to be in her company a bit more often now. I also talk about her a lot more than i used to in the past, so they hear about her a lot more. So it's my girlfriends birthday tomorrow, and last night i briefly mentioned this to my mom, just to let her know i won't be home for dinner. This morning my mom left the house at like 9, and 2 hours later she came back and handed me a package and said "Oh, this is for your girlfriend :) "

My girlfriend is going to freak out when she sees it, haha. I certainly didn't expect this, and i know she isn't going to either.

Borrowed a friend's tablet, attempted to log into TIF, failed badly. Now it's locked me out for ~10 minutes... That was slightly amusing.

A quote from him, "Take your time, it can be days, weeks, months and years (but only for 2-3 years as I will be finishing my PhD) and let (anytime during this duration) me know if you feel/want to be my life partner. Till the time, I will wait for you as a good friend." I see him on Thursdays at badminton, it's going to be so weird.

I'm drunk on a wednesday night/thursday morning. This was not what I had intended but oh well. Class at 12:30 so I should probably get to sleep soon.

I lost my glasses in my classroom...

I'm somewhat drunk almost every Wednesday. And i have classes at 8.15 every morning. Missed only once in two weeks.

Programming language test in two hours.

 

Surprisingly, Haskell hasn't been that bad at all. It's actually a pretty neat language. Of course, we've only gone over the simple stuff, and haven't done any super hard recursive functions. We'll see how this goes.
