Yep, Apple just released the New New Nano today! It's such a bad design, it looks ugly, and would only be good if you could use it wide screen, which you can't. The nanos are the worst iPods in my opinion, the first ones were way too small, the next ones were ugly and fat, and these are dumb.

 

 

 

Apparently there's a new design of the iPod Touch that came out today too, but I don't know anything about it.

I actually liked the first nanos, but don't like any of the new ones they've created. However, this one will surely sell like hotcakes because of Apple's marketing team/mindless consumer drones.

The new iPod Touch looks interesting though, with the new volume buttons. I'm sure hackers will find a nice app for those new buttons besides the obvious. 70 bucks cheaper and 10 more hours of music/1 more hour of video. "New" features has always been available with jailbreaking, so that's pointless. Built in speakers look cool though. Might be tempted to sell my old one and buy another.

I'm happy with my Zune right now and I don't plan on buying a new MP3 player soon, but I like the Nanos. Mostly because of their size while keeping the screen (unlike the Shuffle). Also, with nearly 24gb of music, it's hard to find a small MP3 player that will hold it all.

Anyways, i like ipods. They get the job done and rarely have problems. It gives everything on anythingbutipod.com a run for its money. the only downfall, of course, is itunes.

Hurrah for mindless consumerism. The sad thing is, people will buy it. Just like they bought the last ten million or so 'newer, better' versions of the Ipod for way too much money.

Ok, I'm getting really tired of people taking a shot at iPods because they think they're cool and nonconformist for doing so. It's a damn MP3 player. If you don't like it, buy whatever brand you'd rather be a mindless consumer of. You're no better for buying some other brand. You're just what you hate, but with a different company.

I'll probably end up getting one of these...They look so hot! :)

the 30GB are 5.5 gens, that's what I have and forever will, unless they come out with an 80+gb ipod touch that I can get relatively cheap. Either way I'll most likely upgrade to something thats 80gb or bigger soon to fit all my movies.

Not to be an anti-iPod fanboy, but iPods are seriously overrated. I'm beyond happy with my Creative Zen.

Wow, Apple failed. What the heck were they thinking? That is nowhere near Nanoish at all.

I do not like what the Nano's have become. Apple has ruined a might good iPod, by letting a monkey design it.

If I buy an Ipod, do I have to install itunes? Thats the only thing putting me off from buying one.

I actually really like the new nanos. What don't you folks like about it?
