Multi Site Steel War Aftermath - Done - READ FIRST POST!

Let me say a few things:

 

 

 

You should NOT have expected a challenge. The last war was not a challenge at all, rather, it was a slaughter. Any of you newbies to the MSSWs: Know this, this isn't really a war. It's more like whoever can muster 500+ troops wins. It's a fun battle, and you shouldn't take this seriously. The other sites fought honorably (and kudos for Sal's for holding off a good strategy for a while), and they lost. Tip.it won, yes, but it does not mean tip.it is better as a fan site.

 

 

 

Also, for your MSSW newbies: Bsing is part of war. Don't go into a wild rage if you get piled. Remember: All you lose is rune scimmy and full steel. Yes, you should be a little mad that your own team just killed you, but remember you are in a war and you should expect to die. Also, a little tip: Try to wear the full uniform. Most of the bsing I saw was against people who either appeared white on the minimap (lack of 39 cape), or did not have the full steel.

 

 

 

the reason y some people didn't have 39 was because we couldn't get any all the people who had them stocked had either left or run out and the forums clearly said any green cape was good. and several of us did have the 39 and full steel when we were piled

 

 

 

Yes I did notice there was a lack of people giving out supplies. We had a lot last MSSW.

 

 

 

The Fally massacre 2 was fun. Defintely a great afterwar.

This is my third multi site steel war, 2nd with tip.it (First I was a reported for runehead editorials)

 

 

 

I died twice before the war, and from what I saw "NI" was present in green hides and picked alot of people off. It was alot more chaotic, and we had clans rushing us way before the war started, It was fun, but I was dissapointed to see so many cape killing.

 

 

 

We had a sheers number game and from what I saw, no cheaters. Its hard to mass organize as many as we had.

 

 

 

In falador I died twice. Apparently nobody knows I am an admin. :lol:

 

 

 

Sal's did a hell of a job, and fought very well. they deserve alot more credit then they are getting. Every MSSW I have been too, Sal's truly does an amazing job for their size.

I think the problem here is the MSSW newbies expected a huge war, with hundreds of men on each side. Well here's the truth: It doesn't happen like that.

After acouple kills we got killed by a bunch of people in rune and hides by greaters.

I was late to arrive (thanks to goat for provide me some armour). I walked up to greater demons by myself and met a large group of tip it attacking another group so I join in there. We then moved east where many more skirmishes occurred. Eventually enemies stopped showing up and I noticed people wearing tip it cape attack others of the same cape. I figure it was time to go so I headed to Falador where tip it dominated everyone there. Overall I had a lot of fun and excitement. Here is my pic from the event:

For all the people that got killed by Sada and the group sorry.

 

Sada was leading 'The' clan.

 

We were killing the other capes that werent green until about 30 minutes later and still no real fight.

 

Once the people started to dwindle down we got bored and decided to kill some random people(including tip.it leader) for fun.

 

We were saying "spy" to the people just for a joke.

 

We werent a "renagade" group or anything we just came for a war and got bored after awhile.

 

Sorry to anyone who might have died and lost their rune scim, no harm intended=(

Had some accidental friendly fire during the war, but they actually stopped when they saw my cape. Got attacked by a guy wearing same cape at the end but I killed him.

the actual first part of the war wasn't too good. was kinda boring in the wildy although i absolutely slaughtered someone from sal's. only used 2 swordies while they just died.

 

 

 

ended up staying around in fally for a while, attacking people i could that weren't tipit and stuff. was pretty fun :)

its hard to get a clan of that size under control, but that did not aid in the fact that people were calling on others that bore the green cape

wearing a cape of the same team, attack is not the first option, while wearing a different cape you appear white on the map and the first option is to attack, with such mass numbers of people, many people were looking for a one click option to attack, and sometimes it was someone with a green, non team 39 cape and attacked thinking you were from another site

 

 

 

i'll admit i did that a couple of times, but as soon as i realised it was a green cape i stopped

Tbh this Mssw was alot like christmas after the age of 10, The preperation and build up and gathering are a great laugh but the actual event leaves alot to be desired,

 

 

 

Maybe next year we should advertise the Mssw less, alot of people there where just randoms who'd heard about it and wanted a war, they where also most likely the ones doing the majority of bsing. But meh... who am I to say who should and shouldn't support tip.it.

 

 

 

If there is gonna be another Multi site steel WAR as opposed to multi site steel massacre Rsc need to compete or at least we need to change the format of it around.

 

 

 

Anyway i just wanna second what Ts said in thanking everyone, it was a great event regardless of result. Dustin did a great job organising it (like what 3 times, Old clan wars, new clan wars ffa and then pvp worlds). I was in Ts stormrage's Cc the whole time and he was an awesome general too,

i'm glad that you did stop but there were dozens of others who kept attacking even when they knew you were tip it

Anyways, I knew there would be chaos, but there was A LOT of it! (I was with Dbz's group until I had a random right as they left. I quickly got out and joined Ts_Stormrage's group, and then got backstabbed.) I enjoyed the time in Edgevill -

I am annoyed that i was made to get off the laptop JUST as everyone was leaving to go to the war.....

 

 

 

I am also annoyed that I missed the fight, but from everyones posts all i really missed was back stabbing and not good sportsmanship?

I just hope those who got the food I was giving out, put it to good use, and I would like to thank those who reset my trade limit to allow me to hand out more pizzas.

 

 

 

I am now going to go and try to sell my full steel and try and make my way back up to my million again (I dipped into my last million to make the food i gave out, even though i have been saving that for the past year :-P)

Well, i got seriously lagged, Swiftkit closed its self and i got in again, around clan wars (pure teams) i got killed

Sadasomething and sou chinachong (whatever his name is) had each their bsing clan, both wearing the tip.it team cape.

 

 

 

I saw them running around in the wild, bsing my tif friends.

After a while, I joined red fat and some others, walking down to edge.

 

We found a red cape but he was in non-multi so i kept trekking down to edge.

 

 

 

At edge, i caught up with syzygy and some others before we entered falador, which was infested with tifers.

 

 

 

The numbers decreased and i stopped to have a chat with swedishboy.

 

 

 

Suddenly, someone in rune and tif came attacks me and says "wtf, bser".

 

I then have 10-15 people on me but got to the bank without dying.

 

Me and baleout ended up forming an anti-bs clan.

 

 

 

Someone with the tif team cape would attack baleout, then me and some others would slice the bser.

 

 

 

I also killed someone with a yellow cape and got a rune full helm + rune pickaxe. :thumbsup:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Overall: I had more fun last year at the mssw3.
