I'm really happy and surprised by this, I've been around these boards and RS for a long time now and I really like this turn around Jagex is making with the community, towards the updates to current content they are doing as well as reaching out to other players from their own community as well as other forum communities and appreciating all the hard work fan sites have put into making their fan site.

In short, since this new CEO came along, I'm really liking all that Jagex is doing

Can I expect pms from Paul again? lol

I didn't know he had pms in the first place.

OMG! You do realise he does acctually sneak a peak in here every now and then right? :XD:

Crazy people ::'

lol I never doubted for a minute that they still take a peek over here every now and then but its been a long time since I spoke to any Jagex staff in private (either on these forums or in-game)

Not saying where or in what form, but they're there.

Tip.It has without question been the lead flag carrier for Jagex communities, so its no wonder that they reward exactly this community :)

Well done tip.it crew =D> And TY Jagex.

I just hope they don't go to Zybez Discussion as well as their discussion abilities are almost as bad as RHQ's.

Nevermind, I spoke too soon :(

What's wrong with Zybez? The guys in RSC are pretty smart, if you ask me.

I really hope this turns out good for tip.it and also JaGex/Runescape. They may listen more intently now to the discussions and suggestions that are made. Tip.it Crew you have done well! =D>

This means that they will have at least a little control of tip.it and that means at least a little less freedom

If someone from RSOF would happen to stumble onto Tip.It forums, they would be just as welcome as any of you. Leave the spam to the mods, and keep enjoying Tip.It. ::'
This, I like. Some of you may have been RSOF posters until you migrated, or currently use both. Stereotypes are a no-no.

Does this mean you can say Tipit and not get reported now?

:D That's the same thing i thought. This seems really cool, but i really wonder what content they are talking about?

Dbz/Trips/Das and I essentially confirmed we can mention Tip.It, but as for now we may not direct others to a specific portion. I do believe Das is looking into that for more information, though. ::'

So apparently other fansites have recieved letters similar to this. I wonder if this 'unique content' is really going to be unique. In my opinion, Jagex partnering up with us (or fansites) is great news, unique content or not.

I really want to make an "OTers eat glass" joke here. I just cannot find a way to place it ingame. :?

Im a little scared

Jagex is not a government; it's a game company...

This is great because before, Jagex was skeptical about fan sites. It's nice to know that our informative and warm community changed that opinion.

Sweet! \'

I realy hope they look into some fansites before they contact them because some have ads that are against the rules and they don't try to block them let we do.

It's really good to see Jagex finally reaching out to the community, they've come really far from where they used to be. I wonder if we will be able to have more personal posting sessions with people like MMG about updates and such. That would be really cool

Wow, great news not just for tip.it, but it is also a milestone that Jagex is reaching out to its players; hopefully this will be one step that will break the perception that Jagex is a monolithic all powerful company with total disregard towards its player-base
