I am well into the Bowl and have got the 4th ship, I have a few questions if anyone would be willing to offer some advice:

 

A) How many Judges should I have?2 or 3?

 

B) I have 6 of each main staters(6 morale, 6 cb, 5 SF, 2 Seawitch)? Is this good?

Has it been confirmed that on the Pinceirs we are only getting 4 new crew members? The 3 main stats, and the special unit Oxhead and Horseface?

Also, on that tetsu the face looks rather weird(I hope it gets an update), but aside from that, it's pretty great.

 

I'd take 3 judges since the only missions they'll be "bad" at are the single ones.

 

As for Tetsu helm I think it's the "eyebrows" that make it look odd.

Kinda annoyed. Bought all my deck from the bowl and I"m left with 1.7k chimes. I HAPPEN to re-roll my first cb based 10k captain. :(.

 

Also, not sure what to make of this..I had 3/4 of tetsu helm done with a scroll mission underway, and then after the reset today I got another scroll mission and I forgot to switch the targeted piece of tetsu. What happens if I send it? I just switched it to the laminar, but I'm not sure if it'll come back with a 5th scroll for one piece of armor or something lol

I then went into port management thing and switched my scroll preference to tetsu helm. I then checked scroll and it was a scroll for tetsu helm. Also, @ Batt, I prefer having 2 judge of dice. I don't really find myself sending out 2 double/triple stat voyages at once. Then again, I'm still at three ships because I bought everything else first

I got my fourth ship yesterday and a third judge yesterday. Currently about 60% into the Bowl. Some missions are incredibly hard to get a decent success chance on when your mission arrival times are offset. <.<

So far it looks like only 4 new crew members.

Bought a 10k captain the other day, 2nd voyage with him he died on a 75% voyage.

 

Sea witch thought it was a good idea to revive him as a base 36 ghost with 72 speed. [bleep] you too, witch.

Never had any lifeboat rewards from randoms. Was only my 2nd ever 10k captain, fml.

I have 1 Sacrificial Soothsayer and 1 Jade Merchant, those worth keeping past Bowl?

I still have one jade merchant as well, and I don't plan on dismissing it any time soon. Merchant will be helpful when I hit the Pincers. :P. Just really disappointed there's no Pincers merchant / golem.

No soothsayer for me, I have too many random event rewards already. The only rewards I'm interested in right now are adventurer re-rolls and captain re-rolls.

At best, I get 8 more items. At worst, I fail and try it again the next time they're in port.

I bought a jade golem simply as a replacement for my chimera since it has better stats. Rallying cry was nice though.

With a seasingers cry and a jade merchant. EAT. YOUR. HEART. OOOOUT!

Vnice, I just sent my scroll voyage at 93% success, if I dont make it I'll just give up :P

Got my first scroll with an 82% chance of success. I'm into the third region after about five days of PoP (only got 90 slayer on the 19th, if I recall correctly). Once you have your priorities sorted, PoP becomes much easier to accomplish. I've barely touched the buildings, for example.

Barmaid's tip: 800 jade, triple 5.8k mission, success, got 1040 thanks to merchant.

Whaler: 600 jade, 14k SF, (sending out tonight)

First mission rolled: 600 jade, triple 6k something (sent out)

 

Today is a GOOD day. I'm getting me a load of ship updates.

10K chimes captain (which I'll have to pass up...)

 

Barmaid's tip: 1100 jade - Obtained

Occultist: Scroll - sent out at 99% - Obtained

Adventurer reroll

Biologist: Scroll - sent out at 98% - Underway

Missionary: Story - sent out at 99% - Underway

 

Today's looking to be great.

I seem like i must be lucky in some ways so far I have seen about 7 or 8 10K Captains i own 5 of them My most recent is a combat one but he has no cursed traits came with 2 good traits and i have him going on a mission for awe inspiring. (Im only 8% into the bowl). The one thing i notice about my port vs some of others is I have a decent amount of chimes, 50K right now and thats after just buying the 10k capt. One thing i noticed is that if i could go back it would be much better to go very slow through the early regions. Keep your focus on arch(so you move much slower through each region) and do as many scrolls as possible during the early regions since the penalty for failure isnt much and the time involved is so much less. The way the scrolls come later on it will be a long long time before anyone gets all of them, since it looks like we cant get 100% anymore in the last region.

Well, the Stats are better than Chimera. Basically, as long as you are in Bowl, it can be good for morale/combat missions(since you already have lots of SF people). Once you get to Pinciers, you can probably replace it with the Oxhead and Horseface.

Personally, I have 5 10k captains on my main, and 2 on my alt.

 

Having multiple captains with same trait is REALLY handy, however i think we need a new tier of captain, to be honest....
